The allegations against state Sen. Leland Yee were outlined in an FBI affidavit in support of a criminal complaint. The affidavit accuses Yee of conspiracy to deal firearms without a license and to illegally import firearms. He was arrested Wednesday and appeared later in federal court, where bail was set at $500,000.

FBI is going nuts on Demonrats! Rush seems to think it's to get the dirty laundry swept under the carpet before next election (how's THAT for mixed metaphors?!?), but like I suggested yesterday, it almost seems like there's a silent coup or revolution going on in government.

Bull. My daughter has had kidney stones, gall stones, and now has a baby. She said the kidney stones were the worst by far. I have cared for men with kidney stones who were writhing in pain EVEN ON MORPHINE!!!!!. I cannot imagine he could make through a ecture, debate, or a tv show if he was passing a stone
OK Rose, I passed a kidney stone several years ago and the pain was worse than when I broke my arm as a kid.

I believe that he could suffer through this easier than someone that never had them before, making it plausible for him to maintain composure during the debate.
When I passed my stone, I was driving a truck from Totowa NJ to Saratoga Springs NY. When I got there, I got out of the truck, puked all over the parking lot, went inside and passed the stone, then went about unloading the truck. I felt much better after passing the stone than before.
Who the hell thumbed you down? At any rate, if they said he had barely made it through, vomiting, etc I would buy it. But to maintain some sort of organized thought while your insides were acting like a paper shredder, nope. Don't buy it. Chronic seems like it would be worse, You know what's coming.
