Dershowitz: Charges against Zimmerman won’t hold up

  hopefully the judge currently slated to hear the case will recuse herself for conflict of interest.

• Well, I live in South Florida, and am preparing for the fallout of this trial.
  Fortunately, I have been stockpiling ammo for about 4 years now, ever since Obama's perpetual Presidential campaign began.

• If I lived in S. Florida and was harmed or bothered in any way by these riots that are pretty sure to follow anything less than a death-by-slow-torture sentence for Zimmermann, I would file a class action lawsuit for a gazillion $$ in damages agains NBC, Jackson, New Black Panthers, Sharpton, and all the other race hustlers that stirred this thing up. The libs like suing for every grievance. It would be good to give them a taste of their own medicine.

  • I'm afraid that your comments, which I totallly agree with, are yet another reason why they have to find Zimmerman guilty, even if he isnt. Also, I seriously doubt that he will get a fair trial or be acquitted. What person on the jury will risk their and their family's safety be voting not guilty. Anyone who votes not guilty will be hunted down. Even if Not Guilty turns out to be a no brainer.

    • I don't think the riots would be restricted to Florida, either. They'll be in all the major cities, especially those that are Democrat controlled.

• This entire scenario has nothing to do with law or justice. Justice took a holiday as soon as Obama said, "If I had a son...". Now it's about politics and milking the situation for all it's worth. Zimmerman will be convicted of something, thrown in prison and subsequently murdered by some thug wishing to prove something. If it hadn't been Zimmerman it would have been someone else or some other situation, the liberal progressive Marxists are intent on re-shaping America into the failed utopia they consider a viable alternative to a land of free men/women.

  Everyone complains about Obama, but he is only the symptom of a much greater cancer: removing him from office will not change the direction this country is going in. The local school boards who say it's OK for a 6th grader to have an abortion without her parents knowledge, the college professor who teaches ways to overthrow the government, the zoning commission who denies a man from using his land lawfully, the justice system intent granting more power to the federal government. These and many many more situations are developing daily in the big kabuki theater called America.

  What is really happening? I've very limited intelligence or knowledge, but from what I can discern what we're seeing is a massive wrestling for power and control - a "grudge match" if you will, that has taken over 100 years to fully develop to where we are today.

  Back on point: The Zimmerman trial will just be a very very small cog in the liberal progressive push to pull down this country. With America gone (and that is the goal), a power vacuum created - others prosper in an atmosphere of tumult. China, Russia, Brazil the Caliphate - all would prosper in their sphere of influence with America gone. People are a resource to be managed and used, money likewise. Power and control is the game.

  Zimmerman? Put a fork in him, he's done. Justice? You don't want justice, you want mercy.

    Absolutely, when I heard that statement I realized the "white Hispanic" would never have a fair chance or a fair trial. The only question now remaining is can this tragic farce be resolved without major violence. I doubt it, the President and his Attorney General seem content to stoke the racial fires.

  • The riots will be worse if he gets an acquittal. They will be called parties if he is found guilty, but they will be very similar to riots. Either way, honky cracker whitey better keep a high SA because they want to kill us, and they will use whatever reason they're given to do it.

  I still personally feel Zimmerman is guilty at some level.
  He should not have followed Martin, Zimmerman was never in danger from Martin until he followed him and exited his vehicle .

  I spent 12 hours in a class learning about self defense laws and have taken the class voluntarily since just to keep currant. my understanding is an opinion however and should not be taken as the " law" ;)

  • Zimmerman should not have exited his vehicle. The dead guy shouldn't have ambushed him. The cops are never quick enough to actually help in a situation like this. The government will use whatever they can to eliminate the peoples' ability to prevent tyranny. Gun confiscation is their plan. Race wars will help them justify martial law, a large part of which is weapon confiscation. Re-education and a huge culling of the herd is in the offing unless the people retake control of their government. God help us.

  • I don't agree that Zimmerman is at fault at all for following the supposed "victim". There had been burglaries in the neighborhood and Zimmmerman was a good citizen active in his area's Neighborhood Watch". That is what those folks do, they watch. if as he states, and there is no contrary evidence, Zimmerman only observed until he was attacked and after his head was smashe3d on the ground he used force top savf is own life, if it was like that, Zimmerman did nothing wrong.

    • They WATCH. They REPORT. THey Are NOT to act as Perry Policeman and approach, chase or confront any suspect. Having said that, this guy could have been across town when all this went down. It will NOT be thrown out, and he will either be found guilty or his body will be found in a ditch somewhere.

(And that is what she was referring to when she said he would be found in a ditch somewhere) So where's the BS except in your own mind?.

  • They need perpetual crisis or conflict to find meaning and purpose in their minds .

  • How is getting out of a vehicle so to determine the direction to where the suspicious running person ran, putting himself in a place of danger? He was answering the question of the dispatcher,as the audio clearly states. Once the dispatcher realized he got out to answer that question, he says that following the person is unnecessary and he complies. He talks calmly for two minutes. Within 60 seconds of hanging up, he is bleeding from his nose and head and the person who was running has no wounds consistent with a fight. All of this within a hundred feet of the vehicle he exited. If he had continued following the running person he'd have been doing so in circles given the time. Also consider that the running person would have had a good headstart to run and a good two minutes where the watch captain clearly spoke calmly to the dispatcher indicating he was not in pursuit of anyone. Also consider that the running person was a 17 year old football player who is 6.2' a and could have certainly outran the person he ran. This all begs the question, "Why did he run if he was not doing or planning to do anything wrong when he notices some guy is on the phone from who was merely sitting in a car?".

  • While I agree with you that this is being used as an attack on "stand your ground" laws, I still think that to many people in the media and government, it us being used to stir up racial tensions also. Kind of a multi-purpose tragedy, if you will.
