And she'll totes win with this strategy. She'll grab the Sex in the City crowd.
OOPS! Looks like I need to do an edit again!
At the end of the article you linked was the thought I first came up with when I saw the headline:
Maybe Zimmern is more concerned with someone interfering with his ability to buy a dildo in Texas than he is about interracial marriage or its complete non-equivalent gay marriage.
It's a funny campaign issue, but it brings up an interesting point. It's always difficult running for office after being a state attorney general. Some people go into that position strictly thinking about running for higher office later. Others go in trying to do a good job at the position for which they were elected... but that means they will have to defend state laws that the public hates. In this case, I think the law is stupid but the AG's job is to defend the law as it is, not as he thinks it should be. I hate it when AGs refuse to defend the law as passed by the legislature or the people - that's what's happened in California when the AG refused to defend the constitutional amendment against gay marriage. Personally, I like AGs who do their job even when it means defending stupid laws.
We live in weird times. The fact that our society can even contemplate this is amazing. I think we can fix our energy problems, simply by hooking up generators in our graveyards, to harness the power of everyone spinning in their graves.
Local politics are taking a deep plunge in Tejas.
Don't spell it like that, there are probably only 5 or 6 of us here that understand why you did that!

Here is a demonstration of how you can use a dildo while playing guitar...
So they both appear to be bad candidates. Wendy Davis however is FAR worse.
Is there a third option here?
I read the article, and now have a headache from the stupidity of it all.
You are what you eat Wendy, hope nobody lets her anywhere near a firearm after Abbott kicks her ass.
I have a sign at home in my office, It shows a revolver being loaded with Preparation H suppositories...it says...Law Enforcement speed loads for those days when you have to deal with one inflamed asshole after another. The box says silver bullets....
Poor mentally ill Wendy. Progressives ban and tell others how to live not conservatives.
