Seems like she doesn't have the same connections as Dirty Harry.
She should be happy that her husband is building that worthless high-speed rail project in California, at a cost of $1 billion a mile.
Feinstein is just trying to keep up with Nancy Piglosi. Her husband has made out pretty good on gooberment contracts himself.

When was the last time a democrat proposed something that was only for the national good, that they themselves, or specifically their party and supporters did not directly benefit from? With their track record I'd say we have to suspect corruption as the ultimate motive for ANY proposal they make.
Senator Feinswine is just pissed because people are using the land and enjoying it and she wants to control it. You know as much land as the U.S. Owns in the west, and the government's inability to manage it and even protect it, makes this a stupid idea by itself.
Been to a national park lately? They are in need of repair and restoration, but we are too busy spending money on things like Terrorist resettlement.
Manage what we have, and continue to allow public access to lands like this.
