Dick’s Sporting Goods suspends sales of modern rifles, takes guns off display at Conn. store. This is caving in to insane liberals, who every time something happens with a firearm, want to take a little more of the 2nd Amendment away. If they have their way we soon won’t even be able to buy muskets. We don’t know about you, but Dick’s Sporting Goods is on boycott until they stop this nonsense.

The point of this press-release by Dick's Sporting Goods was to obtain millions of dollars worth of laudatory, but especially free media publicity.
Dick's Sporting Goods seems to be saying as a corporation that they feel no decent person would buy their unsafe products or otherwise do business with them.

Sometimes a little PR is not a bad idea. Yeah, it is a mostly empty gesture like the ridiculous colored ribbons some where to show they care about something more than you do but people are still trying to grasp at how to deal with what happened.
I think Dick's Sporting Goods is finally coming clean to the media that they are a shameful greedy corporation seeking evil profits by marketing entire lines of unsafe and inherently dangerous products across many categories to the gullible and innocent.
I hope Dick's gets everything they feel they deserve as a result of this media-marketing 'strategy'.

I'm inclined to agree with the people who run Dick's that it's probably best for the interests of 'social-justice' that people shouldn't do business with Dicks.
