Donald Trump: ‘I have very thick skin’

Donald Trump: ‘I have very thick skin.’ Think Trump’s whining is presidential or not? Think he has thick skin? Or is his skin about the same thickness as Obama’s?

CO2Insanity: Tired of the CO2 BS and all the other BS in the US and the world.

  • It doesn't really matter. He's never going to get the nomination, but he's doing a good job of knocking the wind out of Jeb's sails. He just got his lowest poll numbers yet! I hope to see Jeb gone before Christmas. That would be the best present I could get!

    • Jeb is such a douchebag, I am sick to death of looking at his pompus, smirking face. He just unloaded on the UF football program, not real smart if your trying to win Florida.

  • Trump is doing what use to be old school politics. If someone comes at you, you go back at them in such a manner that they wished they had not done so. It is something the dip shits have been doing for years. Then telling anyone who would listen that it is the evil mean spirited RINOs who are doing such things. That is why Trump has resonated with the general populace.

It is refreshing to see someone willing to come back at a person or persons who wants to make outlandish statements or hoping that something sticks.

    • It happens to be the Democrats modus operandi to come back harder than they're attacked. I'm not really a Trump fan, but it's good to see the media handed their asses for once by someone not specifically a Dem. Trump's been real short on specifics and long on hype, much like the current occupant of the White House. For me, he needs to get off the schneid and give some specific steps he will take and not keep saying he doesn't want to give away his strategy before hand. Too much like the "little hand grenade with a bad haircut" at this stage for me to support whole heartedly.

  • He has thick skin but he's not a pushover. The media wants him to be like W and just take their crap. They are the crybabies who can't take getting punched back. It really is as simple as that.

  • I just think that he is taking the heat from every TV network, and also, the supposedly "conservative" pundits and the Republican party establishment...in addition to the dims.

He may be a bit thin skinned, but I don't understand why it seems that so many people, for some reason, don't think he should run and are doing everything they can to stop it.

Putting words in his mouth (FOX and whore, M. Kelley) and constantly looking to trip him up (Hugh Hewitt, a minor bit player who got more publicity from his question to Mr. Trump as he has ever had in his life). The latest South Park has his cartoon character raped to death.

I think that if any normal person was put under that pressure, we might seem thin skinned too.

I still love the fact that he calls the media out every time he can. It makes me laugh a lot.

    • Calling out journalists is one thing. Threatening them with federal government guns is another. We're trying to get rid of a dictator now. We don't need to replace him with another dictator. I'm just asking this question: what kind of guy has that reaction, to use the federal government to get a guy fired and a network fined? Fire back at the journalist, call him out for a lack of class, zing him with some one-liners--that's all cool. Threaten him with government power? That's not cool for a presidential candidate.

      • I don't think he is serious...he is such a bombastic personality....

I do agree we are trying to get rid of one dictator now, but I don't think that Mr. Trump would be like Obummer in office, frankly.

Apparently he has enough of a personality and charisma to run businesses, and normally CEO's aren't thin skinned (for the most part).

And frankly, I despise the media so much that anything he says to them is fine in my book. They are disgusting pieces of filth...who can do all sorts of crap stories on Mr. Trump but can't see it to report on PP dismembering babies and selling their baby parts.

        • Agree completely on the media. The more grief he gives them the better. They are REALLY thin-skinned and I enjoy seeing them get schooled.

Trump is thin-skinned too. But he does not come off as a mean, vindictive gang-banger like Obama. And as pointed out above, if all the media and both parties were after Obama the way they are going out to kill Trump, there would be a constant stream of whining sonic-booms emanating from the WH.

  • I'm sure he has thick skin. But he also knows how to use the media to his advantage. Offense has legs nowadays.

  • I think he sounds exactly like Obama. He's mad at a Fox analyst so he calls on the FCC to fine Fox. Haven't we had enough of watching a president use federal agencies to punish political opponents?
