Duck Dynasty star says A&E editors cut out the name of Jesus… during the show’s prayer scene until he talked to them. Now they let Jesus stay. Phil Robertson calls it “spiritual warfare” and says they also add fake bleeps to imply the cast is cursing when they actually aren’t. Color us unsurprised by Hollywood’s perfidy.

My family prefers programs with NO foul language and NO nudity/partial nudity. We try to watch clean shows together but more and more are we shocked with what we see and hear. Those supporting this type of filth are quick to say ........... if you don't like it ............change the channel.

If Duck Dynasty wants to be different and pray ...........good for them!
Those that don't like it.........can CHANGE the channel!
If the network has a problem with the prayers.......change networks when their contract is up! They are a HUGE success for a GOOD reason!

My youngest daughter has a middle school dance next week. They are always theme based dances, making them a costume ball type event. Guess what? Duck Dynasty is the theme this year! We live in a red area within a red state, so I haven't heard any complaints. I wonder if this could ever happen in Kalifornia or New York? Someone would have the ACLU all up this the school district's a**, I would imagine.
Actually, I'm surprised the union teachers haven't filed a complaint.

I love it. Boys in long beards wearing camouflage, and the girls still get to dress up because the wives in Duck Dynasty look pretty good. A dance both genders will enjoy.
You have to give it to Robertson, Hollywoods money means nothing to him. They can't push him around. That is what makes the show and drives the producers nuts.
A&E will some how screw it up and the Robertson family will just walk away and there will be A&E with no show.

He just wants to hunt ducks. What can you use for leverage against a man like that? I would love to have been there at the beginning when he informed A&E producers that every show would end with a prayer around the family dinner table. I bet they had a cow.
For anybody who doesn't know his history, in college he was the starting quarterback ahead of Terry Bradshaw. He walked away because football was interfering with his duck hunting. That shows how hard it is going to be for A&E to corrupt him. Nothing more dangerous than a redneck who doesn't care what anybody thinks.
I caught the interview that TB did with Robertson. Terry flat out stated that he was a much better QB and he was thrilled when he gave up football to do the duck hunting thing. What I did not know was the Jimmy Johnson was the defensive coach for the team and the head recruiter at the time.
Robertson is such a down to earth man that he really could care less what A&E wishes to do. You can tell he could take it or leave it.
But they would never dare pull that on Muslims.
Either liberals fear Muslims and not Christians, or they hate Christians so deeply they are willing to support Islam because Islam hates Christians and Jews just like liberals.
I bet liberals also think they are going to get a free pass from the Muslims if their plan comes to fruition.

I don't get it. I think that a lot of liberals who hate Christianity because their parents exasperated them, or hurt them or prohibited them to have all the liberal fun that they believed they should have had.
Since they haven't lived under Islam, they see it as "the other" religion that doesn't affect them anything and they are under the delusion that Islam will never affect them, which is laughable, considering that the entire purpose of Islam is to make everyone submit even by force to Islam.
Once Islam is the prevalent religion (like Christianity was), muslims are not going to be very tolerant and understanding that liberals would rather not be muslims. They will be among the first to go if they do not submit. It is that simple
While I've never watched the show, if it's something that makes the liberals freak out due to something they can't stand, namely morals, then maybe I should watch.
It's a great show! I started watching it by accident. And it's huge success has the Progressives freaking out like nothing before.
Someone please show me a religion that is as bullied, shoved about, edited, censored, dismissed in snarky remarks, disallowed in public discourse, infiltrated by enemies in disguise, and forced to account for its most minor beliefs as Christianity is.

Ha! Even five years ago they had very good programming... out of a sudden it is ghost this and ghost that and other crap. The storage wars stuff is pretty interesting but it is getting annoying now.
I like the storage wars, what gets really annoying is container wars. The Israeli's are caracatures of themselves, screaming and shouting at everything, and the 2 black guys are portrayed as bullies and threatening.

Agreed. There is a lot of essentially racist stances in a lot of these shows and also kind of degrading to women.
I have never seen it and probably won't, however I do think that this is bad if they do this and they really should consider going to another station if this continues which will hurt A&E a lot.
I don't watch much TV other than news. Never cared for the so called reality shows at all, which is what Duck Dynasty is. I watched maybe half a show one time and didn't care for it. My pastor likes the show and talks about it quite a bit. I think I'll give it another try.
Yes, do, I hardly watch TV at all, but this is one I'll make a point of watching. It's very funny and family-positive. My favorite is Jase. He has a very dry sense of humor which comes out in the little "comment" shots in between the regular scenes.
