Dumping coffee in the bin and being on your phone: Starbucks worker reveals the most irksome customer sins, so how many are YOU guilty of

Dumping coffee in the bin and being on your phone: Starbucks worker reveals the most irksome customer sins, so how many are YOU guilty of. Yes it’s time for another douchey Starbucks barista whiner. While we don’t frequent Starbucks very much, sometimes they’re the only choice for miles.

His first pet peeve, Brian reveals in an article he penned for Spoon University, is people failing to specify what size they want. Want to drive a Starbucks barista crazy? Tell them you want a medium. When they say you mean a grande? Answer yes a medium. Sometimes this can go on for quite awhile.

His second gripe must surely be a constant issue – people being on their phones while they’re ordering. Well we hate to do it, but we have to agree with him on this one. People need to put their cell phones down for a lot of other things, too. Like walking and driving.

Next up? Dumping the top few glugs of coffee into the bin before leaving, so that milk or cream can be added. Brian advises simply asking for some room to be left at the top. Sorry Brian but we constantly ask for room at the top and it’s constantly ignored by your fellow genius baristas, so we dump some coffee in the garbage bag. Maybe everyone should start dumping it on the counter.

  • I had the pleasure of listening to a couple of these people discussing the ins and outs of the job last month in Houston. We were staying in a hotel that had just opened a starbukcs location that had yet to be discovered; as a result these girls were idle after they poured my coffee for me. Seems that they held the opinion that the entire store would collapse without their expertise in coffee pot management. It seems that Maria from second shift was so incompetent, she couldn't even keep the sugar packets stocked properly. I listened for a good ten minutes until I couldn't take any more and had to leave. I guess we all btich about our jobs and co-workers, but these girls seemed to hold the opinion that their job ranked pretty high on the list of "important shit that needed to be done in Houston." Not as important as oncology, but somewhere above fire fighting, policing and airline piloting for sure...

  • It's really pretty simple. If you are a minimum wage coffee maker, you have not earned the right to complain about a goddamned thing. And if you do in my presence, be prepared to learn about that which you may complain about.

You pussies who bitch about everything, when you either didn't have the ability to go to college or a trade school, or you are too fucking stupid, or because you went to college and studied a useless major and can't find a job, or just because you are too fucking lazy to go get a job, make me sick to my stomach.

If you think you are in a position to complain about what someone does at the counter, be it talking on a cell phone, or pouring out some coffee because you over fill it, or whatever the fuck, you are dead wrong. You see, those people who can afford your seven fucking dollar coffee have made something of their lives. They can afford to piss away dough on your shitty coffee, so make their fucking coffee and shut the fuck up. When you are on the other side of that counter, and you can afford 7 bucks for a cup of shitty coffee, you can pipe up all you want-but until then, make their coffee for your slave wages, because that's your chosen fucking lot in life.

Additionally, 99% of you fucksticks behind the counter at starfucks vote demtard. That said-you deserve the shitty lives you voted for. You deserve the shitty job market-and you deserve the $700/month student loan bill you bought into when you decided it was a smart move to study sociology or post modern feminism at $65k/year tuition. You bought into the liberal lunacy, so wallow in it all you want, but shut the fuck up in the process. #Pussies.

And you better thank me and everyone else who buys your shitty coffee, because without us, you'd be eating dog food and living with your classmates under an overpass in Berkeley-dumbasses!

  • I can only drink tea, but when I order tea, they always leave a healthy amount of space in the cup (apparently if I want to add milk or something). I tell them "fill it all the way to the top, the tea bag keeps stealing my water." I always get the same puzzled look.

  • Instead of that venti, venture, vulture sizing crap, how about small, medium and large like the rest of America?

  • The most irksome things about Starbucks customers are their Progressive politics and big mouths.
