• OMG, you have GOT to read that story. Talk about a Darwin Award candidate.

  • If it was half-buried and just a box, ok I can see digging it up and seeing what's inside, but when you see 'ROCKET AMMUNITION WITH EXPLOSIVE" why would you assume the box is lying to you and keep going??? "When Lampert and Rachel Deckert got the box open they discovered 200 yellow blocks. They were still not sure what they were so, Deckert said, "We put a few of them in our pockets and headed to the store."" THEY WERE EXPLOSIVES PAL, THE BOX TOLD YOU THAT!!!!

    No wonder the liberals want to regulate every single part of peoples lives, people do shit like this.

    • Yeah, that, and this really got me too, they found it Monday, the State Patrol bomb squad arrived Tuesday and started collecting the dynamite. Good thing it wasn't, you know, important or anything.

      • You mean like leaking or something?
        That stuff gets real fun when it becomes unstable.
        Basically, it eventually begins to leech nitroglycerine, becoming unstable, and very difficult to handle. Generally, when that happens, they just detonate it in place, because it's too dangerous to move.

        • Did you ever see the 1977 movie "The Sorcerer"? You would love it. One of Roy Scheider's best. After reading this story I think I'm going to have to watch it again.
