Another leftist idea crashes and burns. The teachers unions have over played their hand and now they’ve got to pay up for it. It’s time to open this country up. Let people start to live.

Same could be said for pretty much every school district out there.
They have to cut the budget by $140 million? How can that possibly be? They got how many millions in the last COVID bill and Joe's giving them more millions with the current bill. Where did all that money go??!!
You thought the teachers weren't all getting paid while they were not working? They were getting paid. And meanwhile the tax base that pays the taxes to support those teacher salaries was getting decimated by the COVID shutdowns. Cities and school districts across the country are near bankruptcy because they all continued to pay the same salaries while their tax revenues shrunk. I find it impossible to feel sorry for them.
