Obola Victim’s Family Blames Hospital and State

Ebola Victim’s Family Blames Hospital and State:

Relatives of the first person to die of Ebola in the United States, joined by the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson Sr., continued on Saturday to denounce the treatment he and his family had received from a hospital here and from Texas officials, claiming that he had been cremated without their knowledge or permission and given substandard care because he was African.

At this point we can only hope that the family and Reverend Jackson can take some comfort in knowing that while Mr. Thomas Duncan is gone his legacy lives on so long as Americans continue to die from the plague he brought to this country.

  • I see Jesse is hanging out in the hospital morgue again. He's probably rifling through the cadaver's pockets when no one is looking. I wished they would rub his face all over the crotch of one of the ebola dead.

  • Don't they realize that the body HAD to be cremated to prevent the chance of others getting the disease? Yes, you can get it from the corpse.

    • If they missed that detail, it was their . Own fault. Liberia has been cremating at lea d t some of the victims. Besides, this is like the deal with autopsy. If the death is no texpected, an autopsy is done and the family has no say in it. Its called public health protection, just like the quarantine.

      • Yeah... that is still an unexplainable BS story that for some weird reason is no longer being discussed and I wonder why....

        • Because if the virus can live outside the body for 6 days, it could start a panic and the people will demand that Resident Ebolabama stop letting West African residents, visitors, etc, enter the country.

    • If she knew he got near an ebola person and especially if she knew he came here specifically to be treated in case he had it... she should. She was "handling" a loaded weapon and put people at risk as well.

  • Thomas Duncan:

Should have died with dignity in his own country and do what he could to not add to the suffering of others by either trying once again to go to a hospital, going to a place where there were aid workers, or die at home.

If he really loved his family he would not have put them in danger by coming to the USA and putting them in close proximity to himself.

He shouldn't have lied to everybody in order to come here and get free healthcare that as a non American citizen he does not have (primary) rights to. (Sounds harsh but it is the truth). No one who is not French for example should expect to be first in line in a French hospital. That is just how it should be.

For all of time, he will be known as the "Typhoid Mary" of Ebola in the USA. His family should be ashamed of him and of his cowardice, selfishness and lies. They should retreat into anonymity. These people have no shame themselves, they are selfish, self indulgent and self important... those traits must run high on that family bloodline.

The reason he died here is because he came here under a cloak of lies and deception and fear and cowardice and selfishness. He put thousands of people in danger from the moment he stepped into the airport into four planes and four different airports, his family and those that his family deals with, animals and those that took care of him as well as those that clean up after his mess. It is his fault and his fault alone. These people need to get a grip.

    • KQ your positions as right as they are don't play into the victim mind set that they have. All efforts should have been used and no expense spared is their position and mentality. With the help of jackass, they'll be out saying how racist the US Healthcare System is.

      • But we have a terrible . Healthcare system. That's why we need to change it to be more like European plans, despite the fact that the entire planet comes HERE for treatmentif at all possible! I notice he didn't stay in Brussels, or fly his h a ppy . Infected a$$ to England or Denmark
        . Maybe that's why Danes are s o happy!

  • If I was the defending attorney I might employ the "so maybe if he would have stayed in Africa he would still be alive" defense.

  • Thomas Duncan knew had Ebola and lied to get into this country. Now the family and Jack ass want to blame the state of Texas. Fools the blame lies with Dr Fredein and president putter (who played his 200th round yesterday while president). i predict that in the next few days Ol Gloria will be filing a frivolous law suit on behalf of the estate. Of which she'll want a 1/3 and Jack ass will want a1/3.

  • This from the family of the moron who lied to Liberian staff upon exciting the country and received tens of thousands of dollars treatment for "free" (we paid for it) which has been documented by over 1,400 pages of healthcare documentation. Jump in Jesse, I guess Bobble-head Sharpton was too busy running another shakedown.......

  • Never mind that the deceased scumbag lied to get into this country because he knew he was infected, and thought he'd have a better chance of survival with the US health care system.
