Poor Ed Schultz. No one listens to his radio show. No one watches his TV show. But don’t worry about Ed, because he has a simple plan for success.
Bring back the Fairness Doctrine. That way Ed would get half of Rush’s 600 affiliates, but, we suspect, still have a fraction of his listeners.

I just figured it out. ED stands for Easily Duped.
Jason, I don't think it's as complicated as that, I think they're just stupid.
The problem is that Liberal radio failed because they found out Liberals are not engaged voters. They don't care enough to listen as long as they get their blurbs promising them the world, they will continue to vote Dem.
Yea that's it you swollen faced fck.Outlaw the stations that are popular so we would have to listen to the likes of you. It's time for you to walk out into the woods and finish it.
That's right folks. What the market will bear. The liberal radio attempts have all failed miserably. Why? Well we just found out, liberals are high information voters. Why would they want to listen to themselves ranting about the conservatives on the radio when that's all you get on television?
Did Ed just call me a "low information voter", because I listen to AM radio?
And did his guest criticize Rush for saying "bastard", when Biden and Rahm are dropping F-bombs? Never saw the commercials for "Inglourious Basterds" during prime-time, huh? How about the current movie "Kick-Ass"? Has he heard some of the song lyrics on the FM dial? Should they be forced to play a hour of Christian folk for every hour of metal or rap?
The terms are "free speech" and "free market". If you don't like something you can turn the dial, that is until the Feds takeover the dial.
If Ed got 1/2 of Rush's affiliates, he would have 300 listeners.
SCOREBOARD...
Rush - 645 stations...
Ed - 77 stations, plus XM & Sirius.
...Also, Ed is delayed in many markets, not good for a call in talk radio show.
