Electric truck charges for entire week, shows dismal 8 miles of range per day. Wow, a whopping 32 miles more range after charging for a week. This may explain why we saw one at the Lexus Dealer for sale.

"Norwegian shipping company Havila Kystruten recently banned hybrid and electric vehicles from its ships after a safety assessment deemed the batteries are too great of a risk for explosion and toxic gases."
That's what I keep saying to EV true believers, who are basically a religious cult IMO: these vehicles are downright dangerous. You can't even safely ship the damn things. Not only are they spontaneously combusting constantly, they emit toxious fumes that require fire fighters to be super cautious when they arrive to stop the fire. And then you can't put the fire out because once started the reaction will slowly percolate through all the cells of the battery pack, re-igniting over and over for days afterward. You are a damn fool if you park an EV in your attached garage, because now you are risking the burning down of your entire home.
And now, on top of all that, we have a Tesla engineer/whistleblower admitting that the video demonstrating a Tesla's ability to drive itself was completely faked, humans were remotely in control the whole time. So all those people who experienced horrific crashes while their Teslas were in self-driving mode... might want to hire good lawyers. Apparently the lying is so endemic at EV manufacturers they are even willing to lie about the safety of self-driving mode. This was no surprise to me, because I could never understand why only EVs had self-driving capability. Makes no sense. The self-driving algorithm has nothing to do with how the vehicle is powered, right? So why only Teslas and other EVs? This always did have the feeling of a scam. When Teslas started plowing into immoveable barriers at full speed and running over pedestrians I saw very quickly this was a technology not ready for the road, no matter what the Tesla salesman is saying.
Breitbart article quoting a fire chief saying exactly what I said above:
“They don’t go out!”
The money quote: ““You can’t put them out. They don’t go out. They reignite. And they release tremendously toxic gases.”
