  • I hear the Miami incident was the result of the guy doing "bath salts". Apparently it's a synthetic (and legal in most/some States) form of hallucinogen. Until we keep up with the makers of crap like this who change one little thing in the chemical makeup of illegal drugs to make them legal (K2 is another example) we're going to see more stories like this. Maybe it's time to take another look at legalizing pot. Better Doritos and cookie dough get eaten than people.

    • Legalizing pot will not be the answer as people will always choose to have a new trip and use disgusting stuff to have new experiences. Pot will not be enough for some people.

      • They banned the products that had a specific formula. The manufacturers alter the formula, eliminate one or two of the chemicals, add a different combo, maybe change the name and voila! I see this shit for sale at most of the gas stations. They still sell these little glass tubes used to smoke crack, too. Any gas station or convenience store that puts them on display probably sell Chor-Boy copper pads that are used in those crack pipes, too. They talk about how hard it is to put a lid on this problem. I suppose it is, kinda.

        I used to employ the copper Chor-Boy as a part of my brewing rig to aid in transferring the wort from the kettle to the fermenter. When I moved here, I had to search far and wide for it. It seems to have disappeared from the normal store shelves, except for a new type that isn't pure copper. Apparently the new product won't work for drug smoking. It won't work for beer either. But you can still find the real thing at a gas station that sells crack pipes. Talk about all jagged up.

  • I think it's all that excess radiation from Fukushima. I'd rather deal with zombies than Mothra, Rodan or Godzilla ;)

  • This one is different. This is a story of a high functioning zombie. He used a tool. Dare I say that perhaps the undead ghouls are evolving? Perhaps learning and gaining limited intelligence while their numbers multiply. I think we need more ammo and freeze dried food.
