ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! OWNER SHUTS DOWN SF RESTAURANT FOR DAY OVER PICKY CUSTOMERS: ‘WE DON’T GIVE A SH*T ABOUT GLUTEN FREE.’ Take that hippies, yuppies, Gen-X’ers, millenials and other assorted self-important SF a-holes! If we’re ever in SF again we’re going to make sure this is where we eat. We hope he leaves the bottom sign up.

This has appeared on our local news. It seems the business at the restaurant is booming after this story went viral. One of the CUSTOMERS felt that t h e complainers were ragging on this guy unneccessarily, since there were literally dozens ofother places that WERE. MSG and gluten free. The straw apparently was that some customers came in,ordered, ate, then decided the food was too spicy for their taste, as nd told the guy "The rule is if we don't like it, we don't have to.compay." then started cussing the owner. An asshole who just was too cheap to pay. I'm glad the guy is getting abump in business.
While I think this is funny, I would have been one to ask about MSG (gives me migranes). Upon learning they use it I would politely refuse the food, thank him for his time, and leave.
Why do people feel the need to be rude?
Hope that's for real! Was very disappointed when I learned this:

was a hoax.
It was on Breitbart, so it's unlikely that it's a hoax.
The sign was probablly real, the implied location of the cat was not.

This isn't their sign, of course, but they actually DID open a restaurant by this name a couple miles from me.
At first, since all the servers and cooks were genuine, no speak English, Vietnamese, I thought maybe they didn't understand what they had done. But when I went to pay the bill, I met the owner, a beautiful young Vietnamese lady, who spoke perfect English, and asked me if they lived up to their advertising, with a wink.

well yeah, and either you've said that before or i got a real case of deja vu. At any rate, in the name of diversity and inclusionism:

I probably did say that before. But it's a good story, and I only have so many, I have to repeat sometimes.
Of course this took place in California where no onre can just sit down and eat. Raw food, gluten free(the biggest scam ever. Very few people can legitimately demand gluten fee. And they wouldn't go to a Chinse restaurant.)paleo diet, etc etc. Its mostlybfor attention, to be seen as special. Screw 'em. Peoplewith real dietary restrictions know whatand where they can eat. And they rarely have demands, other tha putting sauces, dressings, etc on the side.
"Special" diets are mostly for people that think of themselves as special, and are looking for attention. My only "demands" when I go out to eat is that I pick out what I can eat, and diet soda.
I will look this place up on my next visit to the SF area.
I may have to break my vow to stay away from Kalifornia just to patronize this guy!
I broke my own personal rules and went there at the beginning of the charity tour, to the Pomeroy Center. It's a school that teaches life skills to severely handicapped kids and adults. We had an absolute blast with the whole crew, students and staff both.
Now, since I was pulling a trailer, it did cost me forty dollars in tolls to get in and out of the rathole. Toll for a car is six bucks, a pickup pulling a trailer, twenty. Figure that one out.
A pickup pulling a trailer is looked at as a commercial vehicle, and you are going to make money going there, so the goobermint wants it's cut.
Good for him! Screw rude customers!
I personally refuse to ever work again for someone that is rude to me once!
I worked in the college café, I LOVED rude customers, the dumb schmucks
Anyone acting rudely in MY booth at faire is tossed out immediately.
Some customers love to be dramatic.
If you do not appreciate how they do business then don't do business with them. Leave them alone. Mind your own business. Open a business of your own or support someone else's business. It is not that hard.
Bon apetit... finally!
