Entire Audience at NJ Gun Hearing Disobeys Senators Orders, Recites Pledge: It is good to see these people using the pledge in a moment of civil disobedience. It is all to often forgotten that it is the job of the representatives to represent the people and to do that first they must listen, and not try to silence, them. Where is the Fricking ACLU? Why arent they crying foul on THIS abuse of civil rights?! This was clearly an attack on the First Ammendment rights of the people in this clip, specificaly, and apparently they spoke for many in the crowd. Why op7ers challenged? They are employees literally and figuratively of the citizens of the state. Why were they backing the abuse of constitutional freedoms? Its a sad time in America. Maybe this is the limit of our Republic's existence. Didn't most of the great civilizatiuons start petering out at around 300 years?
Good for the people who stood up for their rights. What I found interesting was the two limpdicks who are supposed to be cops didn't take their hats off and stand with the people they are supposed to be protecting. Cops or gestapo agents? I think I'll send an email and ask someone. (teehee)
It's apparently a tell... they hold no allegiance to what the stars and stripes stands for. It's truly sobering to try comprehending the scale to which we are being engineered to abrogate our rights and freedoms- brainwashed into seeing them as burdensome and dangerous inconveniences. There seems to be a very real possibility that it's already a done deal that will be forced on us if they cannot propagandize us into demanding it.
Those who have the brass balls to do something as subversive as pledging allegiance to the flag are treated as criminals.
This is today's America, where your freedom to speak depends on your opinion. Also disturbing is how it is now considered courageous to recite the Pledge of Allegiance in public. I feel our forefathers are crying in Heaven.
Oh, what do you have to complain about? You can still pray in silence - just you and God. But make sure you fill out the IRS form detailing the content of your prayers. It's important for their record-keeping.
To be fair, you only need to fill out the form if you're not praying to the to the one true god, which is obviously the god of government and the god of the state. If you pray to that god you're fine. Granted that god does not grant free will, but you are free to do as you're told.

Good one, RKae - this is why we will prevail in the end over liberals. We're not afraid to defend our beliefs and will lay down our lives to protect our rights. I doubt they carry the same conviction.
If I'm not mistaken this was an open to the public forum. If you aren't going to let people speak publicly because you disagree with what they might say, then don't have an open forum and, oh Hell, for that matter don't even have a forum. Well, well nothing like the people telling a politician to shove it. There's no reason for this other than to suppress and to intimidate people into being sub servant to those who think that they are above those of us who are the populace.
This is infuriating! How dare there be guards to throw out citizens who want to SPEAK?
These people needed to lock arms in solidarity and ring the room. They needed to chant WE ARE THE PEOPLE and tell this PUBLIC SERVANT that he was free to leave after he hears them out, or whenever he resigns his position as an EMPLOYEE of the people. We seem to have forgotten that we are NOT the slaves of government, but they are the servants of the people!
That's what it's going to take for us to get our country back from these corrupt thieves who have stolen it from us! And, lets just hope that the armed guards in the room do not start shooting, or there will be a war.
This is why I say that at some point cops (and the military) are going to have to make a choice. Stand by the government for the love of money and pensions that the govt more than likely won't be able to pay at some point or to stand by the right of the citizens who truly are the ones taking care of them.
Along with the
pledge of allegiance the politicians should be required to recite their oath of office as well as the law enforcement in the building
