Yeah, don't get your hopes up here folks, as far as I can see, he's still just advocating "more of same" as the cure: once you get down to the bottom of the piece.
The thing is...if europe or the USA came in to Jukin International Bond Inc. I would, of course, deny both any more funds as there is nothing but bankruptcy in both of their futures with current management. However, europe has the better balance sheet and future earnings estimates and therefore more qualified.

Paul Krugman is nothing if not consistent. For years he's been advocating more spending, more borrowing and more government.
