He began losing my Hispanic neighbors when he announced his support for gay marriage. He lost them when they lost their jobs.
We can thank Biden for this. Remember how he forced the issue with one of his gaffes? The guy just might be a double agent?!

I live in Maryland, where none of the candidates even bother to stump, and real polls are not usually done. We are democrat, period. But in my neighborhood there is ONE Obama sign, and my neighborhood is upper middle-class, probably 25% black. The difference from 4 years ago is striking, where the signs were easily 3:1 Obama, and there were probably signs on every 3rd house. Honestly, I am almost ready to say that if MD didn't go for Obama, I would not be surprised.
And if he lost MD, then he would be the worst president ever. MD voted for Jummuh Cartah in 1980, and Kerry in 2004. And yes, I feel like I need a shower now.
Don't forget it was my dear, dear home state, the Massachusetts SSR, that gave McGovern his sole electoral victory against Nixon in '72. (They sure coulda spared thmselves all that grief over Watergate, huh?)
I'm still suspecting that this one could be an electoral blowout close to that.

The little town I live close to is about 30% hispanic. In 2008 Obummer yard signs were all over town, and not just in hispanic yards, but what do I see this year? Not one Obama sign, anywhere in town.
If you drive around this little cowtown in the middle of nowhere all you see are Romney/Ryan yard signs, bumper stickers and posters in the windows of businesses. All those that drank the kool-aid 4 years ago went back to beer and got their head out of their ass!
I drive around a lot in the Bay Area. I see less Obama stickers than last time, the one's I see aren't as big and I see more Romney-Ryan stickers. Another indication Obama's in deep doo-doo.

Holders guns are killing people in Mexico, not Americans on our side of the border. That is why I told ballz that was a dumb comment. Ya'll don't lump us proud Americans, who happen to be of hispanic descent, in with the illegal aliens.

Not nearly as much as non-hispanics think ballz and that is why I said don't lump all of us together. Mexicans come from Mexico, Americans who happen to be of hispanic descent are still Americans even though their ancestors may have come from Guatemala or wherever. But I'm getting away from the point.
The majority of hispanics I know are going to vote for Romney because they cannot stand the Obummers policies. Small business owners who are getting hit by Obummercare, his wishy-washy stance on illegal immigration, his wanting to raise taxes on small businesses, the whole package has pissed them off.
Those of hispanic descent who still back Obummer? Fourth generation welfare patients. Gooberment employees that couldn't get a job in the real world. And it just isn't hispanics, it's everyone who sucks on the government teat to get by because they don't have the balls to stand up and make their own way. Why do you think the Obummer gave people "free phones", did away with the welfare to work program and expanded gooberment employment? He was expanding his voter base.
BTW, I usually TU your posts too so maybe my TD was premature. I just don't like getting lumped in with a certain group of people because of my heritage. Let the cussin' and discussin' continue!

As to the body of your post, in my damn near half century on the face of this earth, I have had the misfortune of running into many 4th generation welfare patients of ALL races....the "gimme free stuff" crowd knows no ethnic, racial, or any other boundaries. They all had one thing in common though, they pissed me off knowing they were going to raise yet ANOTHER generation of the same.
My original post was made rather tongue in cheek, and was not made to cause offense. We seem to be on the same page otherwise.

As I recall, Obama pulled about two-thirds of the Hispanic vote in 2008. If he's down in the low 40s, he's really in trouble. His chances in Florida and Virginia look like they're fading. About all he appears to have left is to try to pull out Ohio. That's where Romney ought to pull out all the stops.
