Of course the real shooter would never discuss it publicly, he doesn´t exist.
The whole thing was a shame, zero proofs beside the statements of compulsive liars, they REFUSED to provide physical evidence constituting actual proof of his death.
I agree. The only conspiracy theory I believe is this one. Someone was shot that night. Just not UBL.
If he's boasting about it, he's probably not the one who actually took the shot, but he is painting a very large target on his back.
SEALs can't seem to keep their pie hole shut. I don't know what it is, but you hear very little about Army Special Forces or the Delta operators. Little about the Rangers or Marine Recon units. The other odd thing is that it seems all the SEAL stories are about units based in CA and not NC.
Brandon Webb offered an explanation (not an excuse). He said that the average enlisted SEAL retires after 10 or more years with the Teams. Their bodies are shot and retirement pay is about $2000 per month. Some are opening their mouths to supplement that income.
Don't forget the Air Force Special Operators...we are so good no one knows we exist!
One of the guys I was stationed with decided to try out for Para-Rescue. We all laughed to ourselves about it. He was 30 lbs overweight and was a heavy Jim Beam drinker.
Surprisingly, he didn't pass the entry physical. ;-)
