I'm disgusted in the law enforcement here. Not the street coppers, but the asshats (politicians) that give the orders. All that matters is PC and dont lose a vote in the process. Get rid of the mayor and the Police Chief will be gone as well.
Neither are the problem here, it's Florida law.
Typical liberal. Feels entitled to someone else's property from hard work and serving their country this time. Laws here are such here that a a renter can go nearly a year and not pay rent. Yet they can remain in the "rental" before they can be evicted. All the time destroying the property and taking every last thing that is not nailed down with them in the middle of the night. I've seen property stripped to the studs and joists after a "mid night" move.
It was nice to see that individuals with motivation can "encourage" a couple of free loaders to move.
The "social justice" crowd is getting out of control, & it's time to start the pushback. This story is a nice start.
I guess I need to start watching the local news a bit more often. This place is just a couple of miles from me.
I think it just went national (and now international with military/vets all over the world pitching in) yesterday. They are even bigger asshats for leaving the poor dogs behind.
This is a case where it sounds like the local law enforcement didn't want to get their hands dirty, pretty soon anybody riding a motorcycle will be branded a domestic terrorist.

They are right. An eviction takes forever, don't ask me why. The He'll' s Angels sound like a much better idea.
Perhaps I misunderstand- but isn't the concept of eviction the result of a broken contract that has been signed. Squatters did not enter into any legal agreement providing for legitimate occupancy... like illegal immigrants they broke the law when they entered the premises in the first place. Undertaking eviction proceedings only seems to legitimize something that does not merit it.
Send in the SWAT team and leave the quasi-legal procedures out of it.
Florida law is so screwed up. It doesn't allow for removal of squatters, It considers them legal tenants, and requires eviction.
A friend of mine has a daughter that is a real estate agent who handles foreclosures. The local illegals and bums know the law and occupy foreclosures. The banks find it easier to pay them to leave than to evict them, so these parasites are making about a grand on each house they take over and destroy.
That is so disgusting.
I used to go to school with a guy who joined the Hell's Angels. His mother lived across the court from my mother. She eventually had to go to a home and they rented the house out.
The people they rented the house out to, were selling drugs, making porno flicks and did not take care of the house at all. The pool was green.
His wife came down one Friday to inspect the house and when she found out what a mess it was she told them they better be gone by Monday.
One of the guys there said she'd have to evict them and they'd be there for months.
She told them her husband was in the Hell's Angels and if they were still there Monday him and about 50 of his buddies would come pay them a "visit."
They were gone by Sunday.
I love stories like these... I need to keep them in mind whenever I need something... uhm... done... lol.
It is amazing what a little proper motivation can do.
