Gas prices tripled during Bush's administration. Yet I don't recall you accusing him of being "out to kill small business."
Why don't you take the advice you're always so willing to hand out to the poor? If you can't afford gas, then get off your duff and work harder, so you can. Problem solved, right? ;)
Because Bush was over in 2008, and this site started in 2009, so it is highly likely that pappajoe would be skewering Bush had this site existed back when Bush was in office. But Bush isn't in office any more. Obama is.

I've turned down LOTS of gigs because fuel costs would make the job cost me money out of my pocket. When I tell people my travel costs, they certainly aren't going to pay them.

Do you know who was Obama's largest corporate sponsor during the 08 campaign ( rhetorical ) BP Oil.
A couple of things, "john"...
1. If you look at who makes more on a gallon of whatever type of fuel on a percentage basis, you'll find that gov't (state & fed) makes more then big oil.
2. Big Oil is greedy & being subsidized because the gov't does'nt take 100% of what they make. But the "green" energy sh!t that the Obama regime has been "investing"in, is what's really being subsidized, & despite failing at every turn, Obama will continue to support it. With other people's money, of course.
3. I have yet to have "green" energy get me from point A to point B. It has never kept me warm in the winter. It has never kept me cool in the summer. Big Oil, big coal, & big nuke have done all of those things. They are reliable, they work, & we need to expand them. Not ditch them for the fake energy BS pimped by the Obama regime.
4. Occupy, what a joke. What they tell me is that we should have nuked Woodstock when we had the chance. Occupy is the result of what Woodstock was about, & they are ruining America. If you support them, you are too.

It's not "supply and demand" that makes gas so damned high. It's "hope and change". I'd like to send a new slogan to DC: "bite me".
Puzzling that our mild Winter can't be blamed for increased heating oil demand and the resulting rising gasoline costs. Still, both gas and heating oil prices are outrageous - not to even mention electricity!
Since liberals suffer these prices too, it is amazing that there is any thought to keeping the same crooked bums in office for another four years.
And watch for electric rates to jump (as promised by Dear Leader) as old coal-fired generating plants are closed down by EPA edicts. I will never forgive Dick Nixon for that 55mph speed limit and for creating the EPA. BASTARD!
