  Why bother holding a meeting. Simple fix is to take each of these shows and rename them as required. Or, simply act as if they don't exist and not publish ratings for them. Sounds to me like Nielsen is part of the problem and only willing to fix it after they got caught.

• Easy fix...Just do the ratings by time slot and not the show name.

• Maybe it's just that the networks employ large numbers of functional illiterates.

  Nick at night has higher viewership. And yet they blather on about how they are the victims...Best thing that could happen was AT&T shuts them down and fires everyone after the take them over. Start fresh, maybe another cartoon network...

  • Sad part is they'll keep surviving until the major cable monopolies get rid of bundling. Then the advertisers will flee like they're toxic waste.

    • I'd love to only pay for channels I watch. Kills me to be paying for CNNMSNBC, BET all those music channels and other BS i never look at. I watch roughly 10 channels and neither of those are the majors. NBA finals or Sbowl are exceptions. I have my favorites programmed and rarely stray from those options.

      • I know what you mean, fifty billion channels but most of them are just in the way, making it harder for me to find the few channels that have something worthwhile. (And don't get me started on the 25 billion channels that are in Spanish.) I'm watching through my Amazon Fire box more and more, thinking of ending my ties to cable TV.

      • I would also love to pay for only what I watch, but then the wife would have a fit. She's addicted to all those unReal Housewives, Kardouchians, and Lifetime Network crap. It makes me nuts to come in the house to be greeted by the crazy assholes from unReal Housewives Atlanta.

        • I'm guilty of watching reality stuff. If it's filmed in Alaska, I'm watching it. Except for the Alaska Bush people. Can't stand those effking spazztards.

        • When that show started the whole family was living crammed into like a two-room apartment in the city. I was like, "So how are they bush people? They're more city people than I am."

        • Yeah, it was a curiosity at first for me. I was under the impression that they took bunch of Brits and were trying to pass them off. The goofy accents and bad teeth seemed English to me.Like a slo-mo train wreck I had to watch. Then it has just become full bore stupidity with them trying to showcase how ingenious they are by making hay from horsehit. Flipping through channels the other day and saw them building a bear proof cow shed with tin siding... when they had na episode in the first season showing that a bear plowed through solid wood to destroy their home. Pretty sure a grizz could knock that POS down with one solid push and eat the cow. I think they hang out, film the stupid shit for a few days and then get on a boat back to town to enjoy their royalty checks in nice homes.
