These times in which we're living are interesting, just like the old proverb that had the innocuous portent. Government purposed to deliver as much trouble as it can, working over a hundred years bringing us to this point. Flip this link from last August. I think tipped it here, but not sure.
To see a modern day example of how this destroys entire regions, just search San Joaquin valley water shortage. A new government mandated dust bowl, where there once was a thriving farmland.
One can draw a parrallel between the stupidity and damage this SC "judgement" is apparently causing and the actual damage caused by the EPA v Mass SCOTUS "judgement". Knee jerk reactions from taking advise from so called neutral but in reality vested interests.
Democracy works ok., What is happeninghere is not democracy. THe courts (in Colorado the very Liberal courts) are deciding who gets water and who doesn't. Nothing democratic about it.
Water wars are nothing new in the West. Sad fact of life out there. Anyone ever see ChinaTown or the Milagro Beanfield War?
Not to mention at least 1/2 dozen John Wayne movies!
Right. Of course he had to fight of the sheep ranchers too. Those guys were overgrazing the grass fields.
That's why I love AMC. Saturday is usually good for at least 2 John Wayne movies.
Got to admit, I am sick of the Sons of Katie Elder. Give me The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence or The War Wagon for a change of pace.
We have something called ME TV (for memorable entertainmnet tv) that recently appeared in our market. All classic TV all the time. Gunsmoke, the Rifleman, Peter GUnn, Mission Impossible THe Dick Van Dyke show, the brady bunch and MORE! Late night they have Combat and 12 O'clock high. I'm lovin it!
We have ME TV too. Rifleman reruns between there and AMC keeps FIL happy.
What he doesn't know is that his ex, my MIL dated Chuck Connors after she moved to California!

Recently, I've taken to watching Rifleman reruns early Saturday morning on AMC. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed that show. It is said that a new version is in the works. When we were boys, my brother and I really enjoyed watching Wild Wild West with Robert Conrad.
I remember having a crush on Chuck. Couldn't stand the sniveling son! LOL
Well, The Sons of Katie Elder is my father in law's favorite movie, and since he has dementia, he can watch it 3 or 4 times a weekend and not remember having seen it! El Dorado was on twice last weekend, and is on again this Sat, he will watch it, not knowing he saw it last week.
It's kinda sad, but it makes him happy.
Stories like this add grist to my theory that democracy no longer works.
Something like this happened in the Ukraine 60 or 70 years ago, they called it the "Holdomor."
The times were real bad there. The commie gubs proclaimed that it was NOT okay to trade your child for your neighbor's child in order to avoid eating your own flesh. Escapes from gulags virtually always had contingency plans to bring along enough people to eat along the way. Cannibalism was not at all uncommon. 1 rotting potato to feed a family of 6 or seven for a week was often not enough.

It is very easy. Sometimes though, they don't get it loaded up to this site all that quick. I've had it happen in a minute and I've had it take til tomorrow. So be patient if it doesn't show up right away.

yes... that is correct. Just set up an acct there using the same e-mail you use here and upload an image you would like to use and 5-10 minutes later it's here.
This means more illegals getting food stamps cuz there'll be no crops to harvest.
Food stamps are worthless if there isn't any food because the crops died. Just saying.
OK, Soylent Green stamps then.
NOW even the left can't make any excuses for why we can't send them back to wherever they came from! There's no "Jobs Americans won't do" left for them!
