Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

*Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc’-ra-cy)* – A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers
In other words, what we have seen for at least 5 years.
It's easier to admit failure when you can claim you don't know what the hell you are doing.
You don't really think any of them are going to admit failure, do you?
Why do I picture the Three Stooges randomly hitting switches on a control panel as a plane is crashing?
How come a surgeon can transplant a heart, all those NASA nerds could get the moon landing accomplished, a chef can get your dinner on your table unburned... EVERYONE knows his or her job except an economist - ANY economist!
Why do I picture the Three Stooges............
Because Barky, Dingy, and Scarelosi are the perfect modern day rendition of the Three Stooges.
The Three Stooges are rolling over in their graves, being insulted like that.
Oh! They can take it! It can't be that much worse than being slapped with a crosscut saw!
Any quantitative easing is going to slow the labor and the economy. Hell its the only way to even attempt to show that the labor force and economy are improving at all.
Face the facts all you fools, you have no earthly idea what you are doing and how to do it. When all the easing is done and the pain sets in will all the whiners start up again how bad it is? The only thing to do, suck it up and face the fact that things are going to be rough for awhile and dealing with it now is better than dealing with it later and further in debt.
If you don’t know what you’re doing, how do you know when you’re done?
When you're either bankrupt or dead.
Or you've exhausted the sources of your income.
How do you know if you're doing it right? Of if it even CAN be done right?
Okay, here's how QE works. The Obama Regime takes money from the middle class and lower upper class and gives it too the elite mega rich who in turn kick back a certain percentage to Obama and the DNC. It's really not all that difficult to figure out.
*SSSIIIIIGGGGGHHHHHSSSSS*
Remember when Hillary told the Chinese students that U.S. treasuries were a good buy? They then all broke out in laughter.
FTA: If the Fed came out tomorrow and stated it would set the price of orange juice, everyone would think the Fed was insane. And they would be correct.
Yet amazingly, people think the Fed can set the correct interest rate policy and the correct monetary easing policy, not only to control the proper amount of inflation, but to manage unemployment as well, even though the central planners themselves readily admit they are clueless as to how their policies even work!
Fiscal and monetary conservatives have basically been saying this for 101 years.
I do know that QE royally fuckd the muni market up. How it works? Me no clue either.
