Fed fires back at Rand Paul
“Who in their right mind would ask the Congress of the United States — who can’t cobble together a fiscal policy — to assume control of monetary policy?” Richard Fisher, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, said during an interview with The Hill.
Nice try Fed guy. But as things are now monetary policy is driving fiscal policy. Congress is only overspending what the Federal Reserve over printed.

Every government program needs to be audited by an approved, independent auditor.
Auditing the fed was one of the few Paul ides I could get behind.
Notice how the evil bureaucrat defends her turf: by twisting the facts. Rand Paul isn't asking to control monetary policy. He's merely asking for the Fed to be audited. That the largest business enterprise on Planet Earth has such a knee-jerk negative reaction to the notion of being audited, should tell us all we need to know.
How can you call them "the largest business enterprise on Planet Earth" when they never have, nor ever will, turn a profit?
If they were an actual business, they would have been put into receivership by their creditors, and sold off to cover their debts, decades ago.
