In Taiwan there is a lot of pollution from car, truck, and scooter exhausts. Much of that means that our plants are even greener in the country side, and we try to grow a lot of plants inside the cities too. Plants eat CO2 after all. It isn't healthy for people to breathe of course, so some people wear masks. Mostly older people that is.
However, when you look west some days and see purplish clouds with ripples of red and blue floating over from China, or the acid rain from said clouds...
Best to stay indoors on those days.
And all that eventually follows the jetstream and arrives in the USA, but as you know from reading the IPCC reports, the USA is responsible for all climate change, therefore it is incumbent on us to stop all polluting, because that will end it all.
Trust me, there's a lot more of it floating over our heads like you wouldn't believe.
I've been to the US and Europe a lot, it's nothing like what China pumps out. We might make a lot of CO2, but not like what I've seen float over from them. Once in Tainan I saw a rainbow cloud that just covered the whole coast.
We have soot sandstorms that float over from them too occasionally. You really can't go outside then.
PS: They're usually called brown clouds - just google them.
I know that, but everyone on the CC bandwagon is trying to lay blame squarely at our feet.
Americans can change one thing to help the climate and it's free. Don't buy products from them if you have a choice.

That seems low, given the high volume of talk about the subject from the Greenies. Of course, if you throw in local and state spending, and idiocies like the incandescent light bulb ban, which forces the public to pony up so GE can make more untaxed profits, the total is a lot higher.
