Federal judge: Iran shares responsibility for 9/11 terror attacks

On Thursday, U.S. District Court Judge George Daniels said he planned to issue a ruling in the coming days declaring that Iran shares in the responsibility for the 9/11 terror attacks. Iranian intelligence agents “actively took part in developing a set of terrorist contingency plans.” Iran allowed “hijackers invisible passage to and from Afghanistan — without stamping their passports” enabling them to get US visas. Iran in cahoots with George W. Bush? This is gonna make some heads explode.

Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

  • I'd like to ask a question and ask for responses. Does anybody understand exactly what is happening here? I'm not sure I do. A hearing? Issuing a ruling? That makes it sound as if there isn't a formal case being litigated. If that is true, then what prompted this legal activity? Time to follow the money.

    BTW, I think there is most probably evidence to be found of complicity in the 9-11 attacks from all Allah-loving nations in the middle east.

    • In another article, indications that it was a civil lawsuit: "The defendants did not appear in court and were not represented in the lawsuit. It is not certain how the plaintiffs will collect damages or what effect this will have on them, if any." http://www.christianpost.com/news/federal-judge-finds-iran-also-responsible-for-9-11-65113/ At one time, Iranian assets in the US were frozen. I don't know if they still are, but assuming they are, I would think a decision in favor of the plaintiffs would open the door to access to those assets. But, I am not a lawyer so that's just my speculation.

      Also, it would seem likely that such a ruling would affect future debate on any future action taken vs. Iran. Hypothetically speaking, if a current or future president asked Congress to declare war on Iran, this decision would probably be used to bolster the case. JMHO.
