I wonder if local zoning boards are being urged to approve things like swimming pools and other outward signs of opulence within easy view of the "have-not" side of town- to integrate the visible disparities for the viewing pleasure of the impoverished aficionados of Skittles and iced tea.
If I remember correctly during the latest Census data collection (2010) besides being asked our race *they* wanted to know the size of house (number of rooms) we lived in, etc.. Thought it strange at the time, now it makes perfect sense...we have 3 people living in our home, but 'room for more'...Wonder how long before we have forced houseguests (for the collective)?
OK, there is only 1 thing they are legally allowed to ask you in a census.

I filled out my census form and mailed it back in. Two weeks later, someone came to my door to ask questions. I told him that I sent in my form, and that he was wasting his time. He pushed for more info and I told him to get the fuck out of my face, and slammed the door in his face. He went on to bug the rest of the neighbors. I'm pretty sure he didn't get any more info from the deaf people next door.
When the little turd doing the census in my area started asking all the needless questions I shut him up in a hurry. I told him I lived there and I was obviously white, that is all he needed to know. No name, no number of people in my home, no nothing.
When I told the dupe that most of what he wanted to know was none of his business and I doubted he was who he said he was, he got all defensive. When I told him I thought he was trying to get personal info to steal my identy he really got defensive. When I suggested he get his ass off my land he did so in a big hurry. I value my privacy and little limpdicks from the goverment tend to irritate me. (snicker)
I got a friend in the country, wants me to move out their by him..sign on his gate says:
"Trespassers, Solicitors, Religious Wackos and Batshit Crazy Liberals Beware, you will not be warned again, you will hear a loud bang, feel intense pain and scream in agony waiting for the ambulance. Oh Yea and beware of the dog, he is off his meds".....
That's why I like NM laws. As long as you have "no trespassing" signs properly posted on your land nobody, not even census takers, are legally allowed on your property. Nobody, including state police and federal agents, can set foot on you property without a warrant according to state law. The only exception is the county Sheriff or sheriff's deputies. Even then they are limited to coming to your front door, unless they have a warrant that says otherwise.
Are there any font style, size, or language specifications to the properly posted signs?
The county Sheriff is the only legitimate law enforcement agent.

He had the sign made, a plain no trespass sign just didn't do it for him..:)

You are so right!!!!! OMG! It kind of reminds me of "Dr. Zhivago" were people that have a lot of rooms were forced to have people come into their homes. Ugh!!! I cannot even think about it, it is so insane.
I already live on a mixed block. In 11 houses, we have 1 with a black family, 2 with senior citizens, 1 with a redneck family, 1 with a cop's family, 1 with a Jehova's Witness family, 1 with a deaf family, 1 with a guy in his late 40's who has never been married (gay), my family, 1 that the owners can't sell because they want too much money, and 1 that is foreclosed and falling apart.
2 of the houses are occupied by renters. 2 of the others are in foreclosure. One of the rentals is owned by a Hispanic family.
If my block gets any more diverse, it won't even meet the Obama diversity rules.
Do a few scrawny, half-breed chickens, a couple of horses, a hound dog, numerous stray cats, a few head of Angus cows, an Angus bull, two old parents, a retired meat cutter, his wife, and a (some think) crazy white-hispanic, Irishman, whatever the hell I'm supposed to be, count as a diverse neighborhood?
I live in an RV Park near Sacramento. This place is just about a hundred percent lily white. There's five or six hispanics here temporarily while working on a nearby construction project.
Hell yea! I wish you lived in my neighborhood! I could use a butcher as a friend.
Our next project is to find an old walk-in cooler big enough to hang a beef in. The local processing plant does pretty good but he doesn't have the room to hang red meat long enough to age it properly.

I told my husband this a few years ago. They are going to force all neighborhoods to diversifiy by moving low income colored people into all the freddie and fannie repos. Maybe im crazy but i think thats the goal force all people into living in mixed neighborhoods!

The ones affected will be middle class people as always. It will never be the richest neighborhoods.
I remain optimistic that, in 2016, we will begin to "right the ship". Hillary will probably be the Democrat nominee and the Republican will win.
If we hold the House and retake the Senate, MAYBE we can return to a semblance of sanity.
Providing the Republicans aren't chicken shit and providing they run a candidate the majority of the party support can actually vote for without having to vomit while they pull the lever; providing we can manage to get rid of the f***ing RINO's; providing the Democrat base doesn't turn out in 120% to 160% of a precincts actual voter rolls or vote ten times per voter like they did in 2012; providing...do I sound cynical?
