Feds set to sue banks for making bad loans the feds demanded they make. The Community Reinvestment Act, championed by the likes of Barney Frank and Barack Obama, required banks to lend money to people unlikely to pay it back. Now, the Feds are about to sue those same banks for making those same bad loans. A Democrat is someone who blows up a building and then sues the manufacturer for making a dangerous explosive, the builder for putting up a building for him to blow up and the police for failing to stop him. And if you point this irony out to him, he’ll say you’re blaming the victim.

Yep, the gubment libs now have their pants around their ankles. They're begging for the people to use vasoline but there is none left. Take it and smile. Like you did when you lied to congress and said there was nothing to be worried about. I truly wished the democRAT party was flushed down the toilet. They've damaged enough goods already. 70 yrs. worth.
How nice. That is such a wonderful way to pass the buck and the blame. Is Bush getting sued as well? Even though he was the one that was trying to alert the media as to what the Democrats were doing and the media were zzzzzzzzz?
Are liberals psychos? Because that is just insane. It is like a crazy parent that told me to do something, and then I do it, it doesn't work out, they try to help by insisting on doing it, it doesn't work again, people become aware of what happened and then punish ME for it without admitting that he is the one that told me to do it and with his authority in fact forced me to. Insanity.
WE now have completed the transition to:
"A Government by the stupid for the stupid"
Nss: "“A Government by the stupid for the stupid”
Many thanks to the Department of Education, Teachers Unions and unconcerned parents everywhere for your efforts in making this momentous occasion possible.
Only right for the housing market collapse and impact on the economy to hit when the Dems and their man of Hope and Change were out to showboat the greatness of socialism. Hopefully this and the Feds efforts to sue banks, that were forced by the Feds to make bad loans in the first place, makes the MSM. I know it's high hopes but the truth needs to get out to those masses that just get sound bites from the ABC/CBS/NBC evening news. I hate to see Americans suffer so, but maybe we needed an Obomination to open deceived eyes to the total failure of a big liberal government and it's distribution of wealth and entitlements.
sifi: "Hopefully this and the Feds efforts to sue banks, that were forced by the Feds to make bad loans in the first place, makes the MSM."
Right on the head, sifi.
Dems in general and BHO in particular have a long history of using, then throwing under the bus, anyone and everyone in their quest for continued power. Their use of strong-arm tactics in the passing of Healthcare is still quite fresh in everyone's mind, and the run-up to the housing failure mirriors those tactics entirely.
No way the banks can take this lying down. No way. Once their lawyers and accountants combine efforts and begin to "walk back" and lay out the paperwork and decisions which were forced to be made that originally caused the hairline cracks and fissures to form in our housing market, heads will begin rolling rather quickly. The MSM really has no choice in the matter of reporting what is exposed in any trial or trials which Wrong Way Holder chooses to bring forward.
Frank, Dodd, Raines, Waters, Meeks, Gorelick, Pritzker and good ol' BHO are names you are going to be hearing much about if these fools actually attempt to field this circus. Iran-Contra and even Watergate will pale in comparison to what this "ship of fools" has done to nearly sink our entire economy in their quest for political gain and control.
My greatest fear is that there is not enough time before the next election to untangle this entire story and get it out on the table. That the general public will "grasp at the straw" of revenge against the banking industry, instead of seeking justice from elected officials who misused and abused the public's trust and authority.
First we bail them out, then we sue them; Progressive thinking in action.
Just more of their (Progressives, Liberals, the Lefts) circular reasoning, a tight loop of illogical Hegelian dialectic, Marxist philosophy and Keynesian economics. They refuse to acknowledge the Federal Reserves roll in our economy and the detriment to society that a privately owned Central Bank causes.
No, first you force them to make bad decisions, then they go bankrupt. Then you bail them out. THEN you sue them.
That one sentence is pure solid win. Exactly right.
Exactly Right! We must ask Peter Wallison his opinion on the gall of the feds to sue.
