Finally some good news from the Obama administration. They’ve got a solid grip on the Armenian media situation. The U.S. Agency for International Development has decided to spend $3.35 million improving the quality of media content in that former Soviet republic. Makes you feel good all over, doesn’t it?

I guess nobody told him that Armenia is a Christian country.
Maybe that's why he decided they needed improved media. Armenia also has Yazidi Kurds who worship a peacock - that probably sounds way better than Christianity to our president. (NBC being so dependable and all.)

I shouldn't respond when half asleep.... For some reason I had Syria on the brain- probably from something I had read... beats the hell out of me. In any case- Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and whoever else might be a recipient of the "improved" media.... including Syria...

How ironic; one of the stated purposes of the grant is to improve the "...diversity of perspectives in reporting...". Maybe the Armenian government could show it's gratitude by giving some money to the US MSM to increase its "diversity of perspectives".
Now, come on! You know that in America "diversity in media" means "a panel of like-minded people with different skin colors."
Remember, they are intent on pushing through the legislation to make radio more leftist.

That is the problem, they are intent on improving the quality of the news in other countries, but are content to let the MSM run reliability and honesty into the ground here.
