Firefighters use 6K gallons of water to extinguish Tesla that ‘spontaneously’ caught fire

The severely damaged Tesla seen after the fire

Firefighters use 6K gallons of water to extinguish Tesla that ‘spontaneously’ caught fire. This must be a new feature. A car so smart, it lights itself on fire on cold days so the passengers can warm up and roast some marshmallows.

CO2Insanity: Tired of the CO2 BS and all the other BS in the US and the world.

  • Ridiculous and stupid. EVs are the worst idea since Internet voting. I figure it's just a matter of time before fire departments across the country start charging extra for EV fires, since digging a hole large enough for a full-size vehicle, filling it with water, and then pushing the vehicle into it is an expensive and time-consuming prospect. Especially if you're in the middle of an urban area and have to dig through pavement. Wait till those Tesla owners, already pissed off about the spontaneous combustion of their expensive sedan, get a bill from the fire department for five or ten thousand dollars for putting out the fire.
