Flying Korans kill infidel Salman Rushdie with lightnings and fire: Our sources have informed us that after viewing this short clip President Obama was so moved by its message of hope, peace, love and tolerance that he directed the National Endowment of the Arts to invest 300 million dollars in developing an American version. Production is still at an early stage but the advanced buzz has it that Michael Moore is set direct and Tom Hanks will be portraying the Koran.

I at first read that as flying KOREANS kill infidel Salman Rushdie.... I wondered why Koreans would A) name him as an infidel; and B) would want to kill him?
And obviously they've subscribed to the Barack Obama meme of Miami Heats and Tampa Lightenings.
Actually, that was pretty high quality for an arabic movie. Almost all arabic movies I've ever seen and I've had to watch quite a few are that quality or worse. I'm surprised they were able to find anyone willing to make this POS who wasn't later executed for making some minor discretion or sacrilege while making the movie in the first place!
Whoever made this will never get an Academy Award because the women weren't in burkas.
If you tried to teach a Koran to fly in the Muslim world your head would learn to fly off quicker.
This begs for a treatment like "Mystery Science Theater 3000" where the audience gets to snark while the low grade film is played.
Hey now - I enjoy the Koran quite a bit. It makes excellent kindling in my fireplace.
After you've used it for toilet paper, of course, to put some extra fuel on it.
The extremism gives my ass a rash...
The voiceover sounds like something from a 50s sci-fi "invaders from Mars" movie. "I am Zardoz instructing earthlings to obey the Koran, or we will destroy you!" Or maybe he said "vote for Obama"? Whatever.
It said vote for Obama, clearly.
