Fox News most-watched cable channel

• I take it as a compliment when people assume that I watch Fox. Truth is, I don't watch ANY TV news. I don't need anyone to read the news to me, I can read it myself.

  • Hear! hear! My liberal relatives always ask me about this or that on Fox News and I have to tell them, "Listen, yeah, I probably agree more with Fox News people than MSNBC people, but I don't really listen to either one, sorry. So you can't ask me about Fox News. I read the news. I get ten times as much information in half the time."

    That being said, if I'm within shot of my parents' TV or my sister's TV, they probably have Fox News on and, from what I've seen, that Megyn Kelly is doing a helluva job. I happened to see her giving Dick Cheney some serious crap, so she's apparently unafraid to ask pointed questions of anybody.

• FNC always wins, & here are a few reasons why...

  FNC really have no actual competition, at least in the cable news arena. CNN, MSNBC, Al-Jazeera, & RT/Russia Today, are not competition to FNC. They are in competition more with the networks, & the results show that.

  FNC actually does have a fairly balanced hard news side, where the agenda is about news, not pushing an agenda. Also, their main opinion hosts can actually cover a breaking news story if need be. Greta, O'Reilly, Hannity, & Kelly have no trouble doing that. Go to MSNBC, breaking news when Sharpton, Schultz, or Hayes, lousy at best. If the story doesn't have a political component, Matthews is worthless. The only MSNBC host who can do breaking news is Madcow, but she couldn't break into the FNC lineup if she wanted to. CNN, outside of AC 720 & Wolffy, might as well be a test pattern.

  Also, at least from a man's point of view, FNC has the hot ancherbabe thing down. TV is a visual medium, they get that, & putting hot women who have a working brain is a potent mix. Madcow for example, not hot, & while smart, thinks she is always the smartest in the room, & puts off most potential viewers. Mika has nothing on offer beyond looks, she is intellectually bankrupt. As for CNN, I cannot name 1 woman host. They died when Bernie Shaw retired, & they no longer matter in America.

  • I think you did a fine job stating what most viewers and I venture to say most IHTM folks feel and like about FNC. The women are not braindead and they are foxy babes. That really turns men on. BO cuts these liberals no slack either. I love it. He's proven Sharpton to be most ignorant and mentally ill. I know Bill has had to bite his tongue to keep from stating what he truly thinks about our sissy downlow socialist prez. He stays on subject and away from the twilight zone which is a flaw the other news jockies have.

• And Madcow and Farrow fall to the lowest levels ever.....like doubling down on stupid. The only viewers BSNBC have left are employees of comcast who work there and have to watch.

• Most days it's either FoxNews or theBlaze on our TV.

  • I wish I cold get The Blaze, but my cable company would rather have Al-Jazeera.

    • Is Al-Jazeera even still on or exists? I can't even find it.

    • We got lucky having Dish. They were the first to sign him. I LOVE that Dana is M-F now.
