And this is just the start of these heartless socialist bastard's dream of single payer rationed medicine. Oh, your sick and don't meet our guidelines, or saving you might cost too much? Looks like you need to take the blue pill. Meanwhile the fuckers who forced this crime on us and promptly exempted themselves, still get served by only the best.

Plastic pelosi should be drawn and quartered. As was stated barrycare is full of death panels. The doctors are now forced to answer to hospital administrators, who in turn must answer to the corporate office, who must answer to some ass hole within the administration. As more stories like this come to the forefront it will be more difficult for quagmire, sleazy harry and plastic pelosi to deny that their great legislation is killing Americans.
All the dipshits in charge of obamacare couldn't care less, after all, their future health care is in the bag, at tax payers expense.

I blame the doctors for this, too. They should have some up with some BS and admitted him and taken care of him. Moronic rules like this are begging to be broken.
Yup--I was definitely disturbed by the story, but was left wondering (1) why just one of the doctors wouldn't say "screw it" and give the guy what he needed most or (2) why the family just did say "screw it" and have the hospital admit him as a private patient, then bill the guy (who then could have fought it out later over payment).
Yeah, I kind of wonder about that. How can doctors stand by, knowing what the man needs, and not give it to him? Maybe it was hospital administrators who refused, knowing Medicare wouldn't pay for it.
They should have told the administrators to eff off.
Interesting. My wife works in hospital administration. She manages the foundation that finds "free" treatment, equipment, home health support, etc. for indigents and now people with exchange originated insurance. These policies don't cover a lot of the above mentioned. Today, she had a patient that needed a home nurse to visit each day for a week to administer an antibiotic and change a dressing. Her ACA insurance doesn't cover it and under the law she can refuse discharge and have the treatment done in the hospital for the week and the hospital would eat every penny. She is still trying to find a home nurse company that will do it gratis and take the charitable deduction.
This is the insanity of having Big Government micromanaging our lives in action.
