French president-elect’s domestic status a yawn for tolerant French. Freeloaders only care about what they get for “free” from the government. Obama could have 3 wives and 4 mistresses and the freeloaders here would still vote for him as long as he’s giving away “free” stuff. AKA as the toils of others.

If the French don't care about Hollande's private life why should we? It's not important.
What is important is, in essence, the French have elected their own Obama, an inexperienced, unqualified, mendacious politician who has made promises he cannot deliver. His solution to France's economic problems is to raise taxes, hire more public employees, increase stimulous spending and provide lots more "free stuff" to an entitled electorate.
When you get 50+ percent of the voters dependent on government handouts it's over, they'll vote socialist every time.
But then the money runs out.

You know the old adage about those who refuse to learn from history, repeating it?
Well, during WWII, the Germans tried printing up incredible amounts of US currency in an attempt to devalue the dollar and make it hard for us to continue the war effort.
Obama is doing the same thing, but thinks it's going to fix the economy.
