• Perhaps this guy can use some of the settlement money to get treatmen for his phobia. I would be more concerned about the disease carrying mosquitos than the frogs. I am sure this took 7 years because the losers kept appealing trying to get out of paying the settlment. And in my opinion, there WAS malice, not so much for the frogs, but for allowing the runoff from he development todestroy this guys property. They absolutley had no thought of how it would effect him by doing that. The frogs were a detail.

• Ok, after actually reading the story there is some justice here. Even without the goofy frog angle the guy deserves to have his property value restored. It's a shame it took him 7 years.

  • I'm not a fan of the lawsuit lottery either but I can see the guys point too. Especially if he's telling the truth about the frog fear. Most of you know my little phobia (ok, can't help it, HUGE) and if poor planning and shoddy development caused my property to be overrun I couldn't get to PsychoDad fast enough. Just thinking about it gives me the willies.

      • Although I wouldn't want to let it get close enough to find out if it's the size of my face, it IS rather pretty.

        I was once on a job, building access roads for a dam in some VERY steep terrain, crawling through the brush on my hands and knees looking for surveyor's stakes. (They put them in from a helicopter, I had to go find them on foot.) I parted some brush, and was face to face with a very rare mutation of a mountain rattler, that was pure black. It was so glossy, and beautiful, I was just staring in awe. I even whispered, in my best imitation of the Crocodile Hunter, "You're BEAUTIFUL." The snake turned to look at me, then politely asked me to go away, with a tiny flick of it's tail. "Oh,....right. Yeah. I'll be leaving now."

        • How very cool! But I have to admit, I'd rather have a glass between me and the critter when they are venomous. Now non venomous snakes I have held and played wit, no prob.

    • Okm only 1 of the picturesmet the verbal description of the spider. The rest were in shades of grey ( no pun intended.) Any way, it sounds like the poor thing is nearly extinct anyway, so my advice would be stay out of Sri Lanka until they are.
