Don’t worry, Obama has a new idea: ALGAE! “You’ve got a bunch of algae out here,” Obama said at the University of Miami today. “If we can figure out how to make energy out of that, we’ll be doing alright. Believe it or not, we could replace up to 17 percent of the oil we import for transportation with this fuel that we can grow right here in America.”

I quickly called Obama about the mud bacteria, and he said he knows all about it. Apparently they put the mud bacteria into little mud bacteria treadmills and let them run... and the president thinks we can produce 1% of our power needs and generate 40 million jobs by the year 2020 if we improve our public schools and teach kids how to make mud.
Gingrich, however, says he has a better way to teach kids how to make mud.

Review the NIF's press (to which i allude above), however, and I would wager anyone that confirmed fusion with gain will become an election talking point, if they succeed this year. This makes me sound like a concern troll, of course. But consider the political impact of an Energy Dept research facility, with inception in Clinton's administration, subsequent completion in Obama's, lighting up a clean fusion future
Industry-government partnerships have moved history in the past. Erie Canal, transcontinental railroad (yeah I watch Hell on Wheels.. f-yeah), Interstate Highway, Internet. NIF is gathering up industry elements to plan scaling out this new power source. I'd suggest getting onboard this one

Somehow, I don't think Al G. will fit in my gas tank unless he goes on a diet. Could we use him to power the backyard barbecue instead? This dumb SOB does'nt give a sh!t about energy prices. He does'nt, & he does'nt care that you know it. If he DID care, he would do the following...
Push to get the XL pipeline done.
Allow more drilling in America & offshore.
Allow for building new refining facilities to expand our capacity.
Get rid of the endless aray of specially blend fuels for seasonal purposes
Quit subsidising ethanol.
Allow for more natural gas drilling.
Get out of the way of the coal industry.
Build more nuke plants.
& get the effing EPA out of the way & let the energy sector provide the energy America needs to be great.
...but Obama does'nt give a damn, & you know I'm right.

Obama began with majestic, towering windmills and is now down to green slime. It seems fitting.
Barry can't help but show his ignorance of how energy drives the US economy. As fuel prices climb, everything else climbs with it. This because the goods have to be moved some how, either by truck, train or plane..
Now if the republicans will stay on message and show the American people just how much of our discretionary income is being sucked up by energy cost. It will be a land slide victory for them.
