She probably read the hundreds of mea culpas on the Safelink thread and was disgusted.
well every system has people who would abuse it, of course it's the company handing them out and not checking.
of course if you stand on the corner and hand them out....well people will take them.
why isn't the company vetting them?
Because the program is set up for the Dept of HHS to do the vetting, not the phone company that supplies the phone.
Didn't we have this coversation about a month ago, and were crucified for saying the program was a rip off?
