Glenn Beck treats Connecticut Attorney General like Rocky treated that side of beef

No wonder Glenn Beck’s ratings are skyrocketing.

He’s probably the only guy on television willing to express the outrage we all feel. And express it he did when Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal was naïve enough to appear on his show tonight.

Let this video be a warning to any overconfident politician silly enough to venture into BeckLand.

  • When I watched this episode, I wanted to shake the hand of Glenn Beck! This video should be viewed by everyone!!

  • I've been reading a lot of snarky and downright "liberalesque" pieces about Beck of late. The "Daily Beast" had a post mimicking his "9 Principles". Salon has a not funny bit about his "poetry" (complete with lib responses in verse). I think even that pseudo-conservative David Frum has made some ever so intelligent comments about Mr. Beck and Fox News in general.

Just like Rush and Sarah and anyone truly Conservative (capital "C" intentional) and passionate, those on the left (both avowed and those hidden under a false veneer of conservatism) are AFRAID of Beck.

No, they're not afraid of him for the reasons they claim ("He's a fear monger!" "Beck is inciting violence!"). Rather, Beck's detractors are terrified of this self-admitted "rube" because of what he represents; the angry and, up to this point, silent majority of Americans who are fed up with what is happening to their country. Beck is touching a nerve and he is a threat to the left's agenda. Pure and simple.

The "Rush Rule": If you're being demonized by the loons on the left, you must be doing something right.
