  • There's an agenda to be pursued and revenue flow to be established via taxes and politically connected "green" industries and they aren't going to let anything get in the way- including truth and real science- whose purveyors can expect to be marginalized and to be the subjects of investigations- including IRS audits. Whether there's merit to the suit filed against Steyn, The National Review, et al is immaterial... by keeping a possible series of litigation alive the notion that AGW doubters are incorrect- to the point of expressing skepticism against the agenda being a criminally chargeable offense is impressed on a consensus of voters who have shown that they can be quite effectively led a good distance from logic as evidenced by a number of recent election cycles here.

    If things begin to unfold inconveniently for the AGW snake oil salesmen then someone'll just buy Justin Bieber a double shot of cheap whiskey and a beer chaser then wait for the ensuing headline distractions to write themselves.

        Y'know, wouldn't surprise me if old George "Nazi collaborator" Soros is thinkin' "I love it when a plan comes together." Cuz obviously with sighents like this the ACA death panels will be more easily swallowed. Not to mention, though I will, the climate control efforts that have been going on since Planned Parenthood got into the whole enviro-cleaning business. One is forcibly confronted with the realization that the principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and the spiritually wicked in high places are all in this together.

• Reminds me of the Oscar Wilde case. A man sent a letter to Wilde's club addressed to "Oscar Wilde, corrupter of young boys," and Wilde put up a public snit. If he'd let it drop, life would have gone on. Instead, he sued, and it came out in court that, yes, he was indeed a corrupter of young boys. Wilde went to prison.

  Now, God willing, maybe we'll see a corrupter of science being torn down!
