Good news for rest of us

Good news for rest of us. Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs issued a fatwa allowing Muslims to use toilet paper. You do not want to know what they’ve been doing prior to this (i.e., rule number 9).

  • 1) recite the doo doo prayer
    2) do your doo doo
    3) use your right hand to "cleanse" w/water
    4) only shake unbelievers' hands w/right hand

Islam, stuck in the 3rd century for 2,000 years

    • Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration since Islam isn't that old. Muhammad died in 632 and it took a number of years after his death for them to compile the Koran, figure out how to make copies, and start a religion as an excuse for all their vicious behavior. Thirteen hundred years old is a generous estimate.

      • I don't know. Christianity was around while Jesus lived. They didn't wait for the Bible to be compiled and printed before they considered it a religion.
If people could be followers of Jesus without the New Testament, then the goat loving, child molesters, could follow big Mo without a Koran.

  • That is only one of but numerous reasons why I don't eat Muslim meatloaf....or any thing else Muslim for that matter.

  • Two separate tours to Germany and in the nearly twenty year between rotations I noticed that the Turkish guest arbeiters carried large metal cans to work with them. These cans were their toilets and wash basins, all rolled up into one. If you were ever wondering why many 'hay seed' Muslims will not shake the 'left' hand, it's because that's the hand that does the honors after one takes a crap! Think about that!

    • One of many reasons to not go to Turkey.

Might be a reason someone we know went there on vacation!

    • Oh yeah, NEVER use the left hand around food with a bunch of camel jockeys. Even in civilized places, there's a stigma to it.

      • Now that they can use toilet paper, they'll probably use one square with a finger poked through it. You wipe with the finger, then use the toilet paper to clean the finger. Very economical. One roll lasts a year.
