  • Thank you for the "aint my Grandpa's..." comment. My darling Grandmother was a democrat from FDR days. She was the sweetest, kindest and one of the smartest women I have ever known. I can guarantee that she would not be a dem today if she were alive.

    I wonder if she is still voting, now that I think about it. That's troubling.

    • My Dad was a Democrat his entire life. Until Kennedy at least. I think that may have been the first time he voted Republican and he never looked back. Used to talk about the Democratic Party changing, and he didn't care for the changes.

    • You are correct. The proggies do control the weather. Remember when the soviets pushed the jet stream down so far that the giant o-rings on the boosters of Challenger froze and failed? What? You didn't know about that? All part of the giant ELF system. Yep. No doubt about any of it. Very complicated stuff. Only true proggies are capable of such extreme thought processes.

  • We haven't had a direct hit since 1921. I predict Isaac will move west and whack Texas or Louisiana. Either that or I'm wrong and we get a glancing blow as a Cat 1. No biggie but good enough to discourage the Occupiers and anarchists.
