Gov. Ralph Northam’s statement on yearbook photo. Based upon the new rules the Democrats have he should immediately resign.

“Earlier today, a website published a photograph of me from my 1984 medical school yearbook in a costume that is clearly racist and offensive. 

“I am deeply sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the hurt that decision caused then and now.

“This behavior is not in keeping with who I am today and the values I have fought for throughout my career in the military, in medicine, and in public service. But I want to be clear, I understand how this decision shakes Virginians’ faith in that commitment.

“I recognize that it will take time and serious effort to heal the damage this conduct has caused. I am ready to do that important work. The first step is to offer my sincerest apology and to state my absolute commitment to living up to the expectations Virginians set for me when they elected me to be their Governor.”

      It looks like Bill Kristol has more than egg on his bloated face. Backed these two because of Charlottesville and Trump. Now the real and true racist and sexual predators have exposed themselves.

  • He should have picked the photos of him with a dead infant on a pitchfork--there would be no controversy then.

    • All this crap came up to divert attention away from Northam's baby killing bill. A few will scream some racist crap, most won't care, nothing will change. Northam will still be governor and his bill will be law in Virginia.

    • Mysterious indeed. How do you apologize for being in the photo Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, and then decide you are not in the photo Saturday afternoon? And why would the photo be on HIS PAGE IN THE YEARBOOK if neither person is him? Note: this is exactly why Democrats have always worn those KKK hoods, so nobody would be able to identify them. He has truly gone back to his KKK roots.

      • Political realignment happened after the civil rights act was passed. Once the democrats supported the bill, the racist southern democrats switched over to the GOP especially during Nixon’s campaign.

        The notion that the modern day democrat party supported the KKK is completely ignorant.

        • If you do some basic research. You will see that the Democrats were and are bigots. Two very prominent senators who were two of the largest bigots were Lyndon Johnson and Robert C Byrd. Byrd was a recruiter for the klan. States on national TV “there are n{}}#%^ both white and black” not one dip shit in a leadership role called his wrinkle ass for it. Then while signing the Civil Rights Bill, Johnson stated “I’ll have those n\|~<#% voting democrat for the next 50 years”. Which was heard by none other than Wynn Lawson.

          • Here's the basic concept in a nutshell: When Southerners were mostly racist, they were mostly Democrats. When the South stopped being mostly racist, it became mostly Republican. That says it all.

        • That's a lie, used by the Democrat Party to cover up their racist foundations. It's very simple: show me the millions of Democrats changing their registrations to Republican. If you can't show me where that happened (and you can't because it didn't happen) or name some names of KKK members who switched their party status to Republican, you have no evidence. You can continue spouting the lie, but I will keep calling you on it. This is about the fourth time now. As yet, you have never provided the evidence I requested.

          • Every time you cite a source you lie. Every. single. time. Your source this time makes it clear that THEY do not have the datA I asked you for because the data DOES NOT EXIST. Says so right in the paper. Which you obviously did not read. And while they admit they argue for the case that race was the primary reason for the shift, they admit there are other reasons that are actually better supported by the data. Are you getting this? Am I using words that are too big for you? YOUR OWN SOURCE ADMITS THAT RACE WAS ONLY AN ISSUE FOR TWO OR THREE YEARS AND THAT OTHER FACTORS WERE LIKELY MORE IMPORTANT. Here's the thing, unless you or someone else who makes this argument can show actual racists who changed their party affiliation from Democrat to Republican, then you do not have a case. The South became better educated and more affluent over that period, while a bunch of northerners started moving in to enjoy the climate, and THAT is the reason they started becoming majority Republican. The racist Democrats of the 50s were still there but they were outnumbered by their better-educated and more affluent children and grandchildren, augmented by northerners, who were more concerned about economic liberty and stopping the socialist leanings of the Democrats. This isn't a story about racists becoming Republicans. This is a story about a population shifting to a different demographic.

          • LOL I never said every single southern democrat who became a republican did so for racial reasons.

            I am mentioned in my first post there was a political realignment which is a change of demographics NOT a 100% absolute shift of racist southern democrats.

            I can’t tell if this concept is so deep for you or if you are refusing to believe you are wrong.

    • But he doesn't remember how he got that nickname... and if you believe he doesn't remember how he got that nickname, I have a bridge to sell you. I'm older than him, I collected three different nicknames in high school and college, and I remember exactly how I got all three of them. No way does he not remember.
