They always moan and groan about how terrible a government shutdown will be, when the damn thing is going to collapse under it's own weight here soon anyway.
I guess they think that they won't be near the 'building' when it finally collapses under its own weight. Goobermint bureau-turd: "Isn't that what FEMA's for?"

Actually without all the Federal Dweebs on the road the traffic gets a lot better.
The GOP leadership sufferes from having consistently bad strategy, probably from listening to these genius consultants that tell them it is bad ot criticize Obama and idiotic drivel like that. This current proposed strategy, having a showdown on a single issue like Obamacare, is doomed to fail for them. Obama and the dems can too easily trot out poor unfortunate victims who have been "harmed" by such an action.
Instead, they ought to use the opening Obama has given them by trying to absolve himself of blame for these scandals. Propose spending cuts in the CR or 10 % for all the agencies involved in these scandals until they are fully resolved. EPA, HHS, DOJ, IRS, DoS, and WH budgets all decreased 10 % until these agencies cooperate fully with the scandal investigations. They (GOP leadership) can say after these are satisfactorially resolved, funding will go back to normal. But gee, the WH and these other branches are stonewalling investigation and resolution into these scalndas, this decrease is the only leveredge we have.
This puts the focus squarely on Obama and the sscandals, and cuts spending at the same time. Win-win. If the government does shut, the GOP can say they are happy to open it if Obama and his stonewallers will fully coopersate, and provide a list of what is being slow-walked or not done.
What other political party would knowingly hire the enemy to help them with their battle strategies?
If the gooberment was shut down, and they had no money to buy stuff, we might finally see ammo on the shelves again!
I agree with Krauthammer who said this would be monumentally stupid since the Dems would just wait out the GOP and they would get full on positive coverage from state-controlled media. In other words, let the thing collapse and then come in with a real set of reforms. That's how you win this.
Doesn't matter, GOP hasn't grown a pair yet.

I think the first thing that should go is CONGRESSIONAL PAY, BENEFITS, TRAVEL, etc. etc. along with all APPOINTEES of the white house, and the white house staff.
None of them are necessary.
Hopefully the Federal Reserve is next so Corporate Greed has to give back the gold they stole.

It Dosen't matter ,Barry is printing MONEY faster than he can spend it! Which is why the dollar is falling in the stock market. It was worth 80 cents, now it is around 74 cents soon it will be 12 cents by next year . People wake up this guy is sending money before it can be printed! And it is going to other countries. Stop the madness now!
