Read a couple weeks ago there is no mechanism at all in place to deal with people who miss a premium payment or let their coverage lapse. None. Cool ain't it?
And this is all they had to do. Instead of this bulky, horrible, Obamacare, they could have just offered Medicaid to those with no insurance. Making people pay according to their income. It would have then covered everyone, not screwed up everyone else's insurance, and probably cost us all much less.

They will be allowed to keep their condition. I've never seen a health insurance policy yet that guaranteed you would get well. When I do, I might become interested in buying health insurance.

Actually, I'm surprised that there haven't been more prosecutions for voter fraud. With the conviction of Melowese Richardson in Ohio, you would have thought more states attorneys would have pursued this. I'm certain this wasn't an isolated incident. For example, in the '08 election, I went to the polls and had to wait in line much longer than I ever had before. In the '12 election, there was no line, yet there were only 2.23 million fewer votes cast nationwide in 2012.

Hawai'i didn't get a waiver, & I have heard on the radio that they will get hit very hard with price increases. At least the early projections are saying that. I can ask a friend who lives there about it if I really want to know. She can tell me about it once the ball gets rolling there.
So far we haven't heard how it will affect my husband's insurance in Hawaii. We did hear 22%. We have TriCare, though, too, with me being AD. He's a reservist, but his civilian job thus far offers decent health insurance. Not sure what we'll do once we find out. We are close to retiring, and when we do, from the looks of it, Prime won't be an option, anymore.
The military has already been dropping Tricare Prime like a hot rock, unless you live within walking distance of an active duty military base. Yes, I may be exaggerating, but you get the picture. Prime has passed us by and Standard is all I have left, after 22 years of service you'd think the gubmint would live up to its promises...crap, what am I thinking?
