Grapevine officer not charged in fatal shooting of Mexican immigrant. It may be too soon but so far we don’t hear about any Mexicans rioting, pillaging, stealing, killing, maiming or burning down their neighborhood.

This goombah lawyer for the family claims that the fool didn't understand English? Looks like he did to me, he talked to the cop in English so that theory is out the window.
Maybe the cop should have yelled contra el culo del coche o disparo instead. Maybe up against the car asshole, or I'll shoot doesn't work so well with dummies who don't know how to do what they are told.
He was ordered to the back of the car. Apparently he spoke enough english to keep his job and comply with the last officer who arrested him for DWI. I'm glad I'm not a police officer and threatened in this manner. Their job is stressful enough without idiots like this not complying with the officers commands. Without seeing the video, but reading the story, it sure sounds like the officer felt threatened and responded. Too bad he was stupid. Too bad he's dead.One follows the other.

This guy DID obviously understand enough English to follow the simple commands, he refused to do so. Kept reaching back into the car, while being ordered to keep his hands out. Then refused orders to stop advancing towards the officer.
In my opinion, as soon as a person runs from police, they should be considered dangerous, and be treated as such. There should also be a minimum and mandatory sentence of at least one year in prison for each minute someone runs, measured from the time the lights are turned on, until the car stops. A lot of this stupid, senseless running, putting everyone's life in danger, would stop if that were enacted.
I had a few run-ins with the law in my younger, hard drinking days and funny thing is I never got shot. Or beat up, thrown on the pavement, nothing. I just got arrested and taken to jail.
Maybe I should go to some liberal loon sites, like Huff-N-Puff, and tell a few of my stories about being stopped by the law. Oh, I forgot. I've already been banned from most of them for disagreeing with loons and telling the truth.

You know that there are cultural differences on how people stop for the police!
White people, if they're not smuggling drugs, running guns, or riding motorcycles, will stop immediately upon recognizing they are being pulled over.
Hispanics will take longer, because their cars are either in such disrepair that they may not be able to stop for up to 4 miles, depending on speed, or it takes longer for them to power down the hydraulics for their lowriders.
Blacks will take longer to realize the cops are pulling them over because they have bandannas or hats pulled down so far over their eyes that they can't see the rear view mirror, or they are busy adjusting their pants to the proper point below their ass, to look cool. This also makes it harder for them to find their wallet or drivers license.
Police are required by the new PC administration, to allow for such cultural differences.
