I blame Corporate Greed and the very same Bank official who said that.
Me, I blame those we have elected that feel it is their job to just give people whatever they want. We pay for people having kids, & pay them more when they have more kids. We put them in gov't housing, & give the EBT cards. Generation after generation of zero liability citizens who become zero liability voters. We have public sector unions that are bankrupting cities & states, & then they go mooching for federal money. We forced banks to provide loans to people who would never get loans if they had to qualify for one back in the day. We bought a car company that should have been put through the bankrupsy system & come back better. We should also quit supporting the United Nations, & throw them out of NYC. We could stop giving money to nations that hate our guts as well. Sometimes I get it, but usually, no.
Then we can start to get gov't out of the way of our buisinesses & allow them to due what they do best. Create jobs & create wealth, then those who get jobs can then pay taxes. What a concept. We can also get the Obama regime out of the way & let America produce it's own energy. We have plenty of oil, & we need to drill for it. Instead, we put it off limits. Also, build nuke plants, lots of them, & let the coal industry do their thing. Energy is a national security issue, & Obama & the progressives have done everything they can to stop America's fuel supply. I know, green jobs. Yeah, green jobs, my ass. They don't exist, & they don't produce energy. We should also get rid of things like the Dept.of Ag, Dept.of Ed, Commerce Dept, & other worthless agencies. They produce nothing, & we need to purge leftist progressives from our national security agencies. They put America at risk, & do not act in America's best interests. The State Dept. needs a good cleanout, that would be a nice place to start.
Those are just a few thoughts about blame & fixing the problems in America, but don't expect "john" to understand what I said. He's a fake poster who has a job, to wind up boards like this one. He's not doning a good job, but he is funny, & not on purpose.
Just more corporate blame shifting. Corporate Greed are the ones who took those billions in bailouts. Bailout money that was susposed to go towards making new jobs, but they embezzled it and gave themselves bonuses instead.

The difference is that corporations serve a purpose. They provide goods and/or services to those willing to pay for them. Car companies make cars, food companies make food, etc. This in turn provides jobs, tax revenue and wealth if they are run well. Now on earlier threads you mentioned you take food stamps (welfare). What good or service do you and people like you provide? Sorry, but I'd rather have the new pair of boots I bought today or the new car I'll be buying next year than provide a free ride for someone whose only apparent purpose is to troll websites to annoy others.

I found this yesterday-Pumpkin and Honey Bunny are made to give back the MacGuffin briefcase and Jules's wallet... but, other than that, they get to keep all the loot they've robbed, including the contents of the register, several of the other diners' wallets and a cell phone, and walk away entirely unharmed - while, admittedly, looking rather shook up. Of course, Jules has made it expressly clear that if it were any other day, he'd have just popped them both and finished his coffee, but he's making a conscious effort to change his ways.◦ Jules probably realized that they would need enough money to live on for a few months to be able to resist the temptation of returning to a life of crime. He even gave them the money from his own wallet towards that end.
