Reading the Red Flag laws, the GOA is correct. Schumer has violated the very laws he screamed for. Now it’s time to enforce them upon his ass. He’s a Harvard educated lawyer, and damn sure knows that he threatened two US Supreme Court Justices. That alone is a damn federal crime. Why hasn’t the capital police not arrested Schumer? Let Chuck U face the same damn consequences that he wants others to face.
They can Red Flag him, and they can arrest him, but they cannot keep him. Congresscritters can not be held. It's in the Constitution. I remember when Patrick Kennedy drove his car into a fountain (or something like that) in 2006. They didn't even give him a sobriety test. They couldn't hold him long enough to force a test on him. All he has to say is he is on his way to work and if Congress is in session they have to release him. They can charge him, and he was found guilty of something, I don't remember what, but forcing him to take a sobriety test would involve holding him and the Constitution does not allow the police to prevent a Congressman from attending a Congress that is in session.
At least that's the way I understand it.
I can remember when Wilbur Mills took a dip with Fanny Fox in the tidal basin. It’s understandable when the founders placed the clause in the US Constitution, now you have those that are sucking on the government tits exploiting their position to enrich themselves.
