Gun shop blocks Mark Kelly’s right to buy AR-15, citing political ‘intent’

• Maybe Mr. Kelly shouldn't have lied on the application. But then we all know nothing is going to happen anyway because he's a hypocritical Commiecrat.

• Wow, how silly The Raw Story is. The gun owner isn't infringing on Mark Kelly's 2nd Amendment right. Now he might have breached a private contract between the two, but that is very different. The 2nd Amendment does not exist to force one individual to sell products to another individual. Otherwise what would stop me from from forcing Kelly to sell that gun to me if I demanded it. The 2nd Amendment exists, in part, to stop the Government from stopping those sales when they are agreed to by two consenting parties.

  And on an unrelated note it is unfortunate that Kelly didn't have one of these when it really mattered.

  • Actually Kip, since Kelly admitted it was a straw purchase, he should be the one in trouble.

      • I have a similar method. Any customer that I have found to be annoying or a pain in the ass has a special ringtone on my phone. Avenged/Sevenfold "F-in Nightmare". Then I know who not to answer the phone for. If they are persistant, I simply explain how busy I am and won't be able to help them out.

        • It would be great if the ignorant Kelly would sue the shop owner for that breach of contract. Then the shop owner could bring out the law in open court, stating that he simply refused to take part in a purchase that violated federal law.

        • Except Kelly isn't THAT stupid. The cost to the shop owner and time away from his business would cost him more than he would actually receive in the suit, and while the principle would be worth it, he has to eat and pay bills somehow. And he doesn't have the deep pockets that would suddenly be avaiable for Kelly.

• It appears astronut Kelly just keeps stepping in it or on it which ever you prefer. Pictures of he and the wife shooting or holding an AR all smiles. Then the grandstanding at the sheriffs office. Now he gets slapped up side the head by a gun shop for trying to embarrass them.

  From appearances the Kelly's/Giffords won't learn that people are onto them.
