  I just got home from my parents, the day has been good. To get them out of the house I took them to the local greasy spoon for one of the best green chili cheeseburgers known to man. Mom and Dad can't get out by themselves anymore, both are almost 80, so it's nice to be able to take them out once in a while to show my thanks and love for all they have done for us boys.

• Mine has been thanked and plied with fine wines for putting up with my BS years ago.

  Actually, she still puts up with my BS. That's why I love her.

• Happy Mother's Day to my wife and daughter and to all you wonderful mothers out there in IHTM land who put up with us!

• Happy Mother's Day to my Mom and wife and to the other moms among us .

  What's sad is the realization that before too long , some of us will be considered bigots because we won't say Happy Mother's Day to the mommies in the Homosexual Unions . If marriage can be raped of its meaning , why not the idea and concept of Motherhood .

  Up is down and down is up . Evil is Good and Good is evil , in the world of the Morally and Intellectually defective .

  • There was a story on the front page of the NYT today about some guy who used to be the daddy, but now he's the mommy to his kids. Those SOBs will cheapen everything, won't they? Just because you have a sex change, you don't get to be "mommy". You get to be "my daddy who is touched in the head and thinks he's a woman".

    • I agree with you. At some point these people need to realize that they cannot be the same as those that they seek to emulate by such drastic behavior.
